The location is convenient!

The location is convenient for me to join the cave activity nearby. The room is spacious but I did not get the room key. I was told the key was taken away by someone. It was strange! The flowers around are beautiful! A Jacuzzi pool is available for the guests although I did not have time to enjoy it.

Lovely Small Room but need to share Bathroom

Lovely B&B with Friendly Host. It is one of the Room in the house. The Room is relatively Small but with lovely decoration. Breakfast included and you can enjoy a beautiful scene in the garden. (The host allow us to pick up the fruit in the garden which is lovely). They have a warm pool but we did not try it. Only suitable for driving as far away from City Area. But only need within 10 mins drive and can reach my Waitomo Cave Rafting point. Need to share the bathroom with other guests in the house is the bad part but the Bathroom and Toilet is clean.

Perfect cozy B&B!

We just finish the tongaroir crossing hiking that day .....lucky this Is the perfect place for us to take a rest ! Bed and shower was perfect and cozy ! The breadfast was very nice and fresh! If u wanna stop over before or after you do the tongaroir crossing or watomo black water rafting ...here must be the best cozy B&B for your trip ! Big thanks for the house owner who recommend us to have a dinner at a bar which 5mins drive from the B&B! we ar lucky that their kitchen just open after 9pm !

Reviewing for a group of 3. We stayed in the family room for 1 night while visiting the nearby glow worm caves. We had a great stay. Only about 10 minutes from the caves. The property is situated on a hill, and the patio right outside our room had spectacular views of the surrounding region/mountains. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet at night. Bathroom was spacious as well. Small kitchenette had a few items as well including electric kettle, tea, coffee. Complementary breakfast was continental and definitely a plus; had everything we needed for a long day. Was nice to meet the owner Trevor as well as his dogs who can be seen around the property. Would stay here again.

This was a great little place to stay for a few nights while working our way towards Auckland at the end of our holiday! Beautiful view, nice and casual breakfast, and our host was available and helpful. The venue was away from the highway, but close enough to get traffic noise, but that was not a big deal. We will be back! Thank you!

La chambre était très correcte mais rien au niveau de la réservation ne précisait qu’elle n’était pas dotée d’une SdB. Que la malhonnêteté émane d’Expedia ou de l’établissement ne change rien à l’affaire. Non moins de 4 ou 5 chambres partagent une unique douche, un unique lavabo et 2 WC. Pour accéder aux WC il faut passer dans le couloir qui accueille l’unique lavabo. Petit déjeuner inexistant. Vous aurez droit à un ersatz de café, une barre de céréales et un bout de toast. En clair, une auberge de jeunesse améliorée avec la même promiscuité.

Cozy & quiet room, easy access to hot tub, and a super easy way to check in/find your room without having to speak with anyone. Property owner also has 2 dogs on sure who are suuuuuuper friendly and absolutely adorable.

It was a little confusing finding the entrance to the property and finding our room. Keys and room numbers were in envelopes marked with customers names and taped to a window. Our room was small but clean and adequate. More hooks and/or hanging space would be helpful. With fewer decorative items around, the room would be more functional and more comfortable. The setting was beautiful with lovely views looking out over the countryside.

The unit we were in was immaculate and the views were spectacular, would recommend it to anyone. The breakfast was very good also, with plenty of choice. Trevor is an amiable and welcoming host, Jack and Harley are equally welcoming ( the dogs).

I book lots of rooms on hotels.com This is the first time I have ever accidentally vooked a room without an en-suite. I think the website could be much clearer in stating that over half of the rooms do no have an en suite. There are seven rooms…not four as stated in hotels.com. Four have a shared bathroom. The place is very clean and very well managed.
