On our property we have three buildings without an elevator, these buildings have fire exit stairs on the outside which may be what you used however at each building entrance there is a large staircase which is very sturdy. Our deluxe rooms and king suites are larger rooms and have an elevator within that building which may be more to your liking for future reservations.

Though we are an outdoor property hotel we are still classified as a hotel with the amenities we provide to our guests. Thank you for your review of Ramada Ottawa. Yes we are in deed located on the Rideau River, the only hotel in Ottawa with dock access to the river. In the summer months we also have canoes and Kayaks available to rent. Thank you again for your review and we hope to welcome you back again in the future.

We are currently making a new storage area outside our front building so maybe this is what is giving you that impression of "abandoned" we are hoping for the unit to be completed in the next coming weeks. As for drunk people, we are not full of drunk guest. If a guest is drunk and causing a disturbance they are immediately removed from the property and not welcomed back as we do not tolerate this behaviour.
