Pleasant and walkable distance to Shaw Center
Pleasant stay, convenient and a 18 min walk to Shaw Center. Room has a slight musty smell and it was a little noisy since it is right beside the elevator... Otherwise everything was pleasant.

The rooms for 3 was very good size and clean. The breakfast was exellent. The bedroom queen size mattress was really bad and uncomfortably. We had 2 nighs bad sleep in there. Thats why l gave over all only 3 stars.

Good location, clean room, great customer service and ready to accommodate my feather/down allergies with no fuss. Also, they offer really good options for the free continental breakfast, including breakfast sandwiches in ready-to-go sustainable containers. My only critical comment would be that I found the queen bed pretty small. Was closer to a double bed in my opinion.

Hidden fees. Parking was a joke. The room smelled so so bad. Beggars right outside the front door. Couldn’t even open windows to air out bad smell. Charged $45 for parking in a ridiculous parking lot you have to make a 3 point turn to enter or exit. Also charges $10 a day for housekeeping if you opt out for your stay they give you a letter saying they will give you $10 back and then not follow through on it. This was at the very most a two star. We reserved a queen size bed and only got a double. Tv didn’t work and needed to be fixed. Staff was friendly but the hotel was a joke and a waste of my hard earned money.

Can’t beat the location. You could leave the car in their parking (Payable, but worth it) and walk to Parlament Hill and Byward Market. Not to mention that the avenue there is a ton o places to eat and drink coffee 10/10!! Oh and their breakfast like no other!!! It’s not continental, it’s a whole breakfast, oh and with Nescafé 100/10!! Peter in the front desk went above and beyond 1000/10!!!

The staff were very friendly, the room was very spacious and clean, there is a cart on each floor to grab supplies if you opt out of housekeeping, lots of restaurants, parliament hill, convenience stores were all within walking distance and it has an above average free breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely stay here again the next time I find myself in Ottawa.

The location of the Business Inn & Suites is amazing and super convenient if you’re looking to dine around or hit up a few pubs as many establishments are within a short walk. Attractions and sights are a bit further away but still very much walkable via Elgin Street, and transit buses operate past the hotel too.

Room was ready early! Courteous staff. Very clean. Room had everything I needed. Did not get to breakfast or the gym but these were included. They also had free laundry! Convenient location walking distance to many attractions. Would stay again for sure.

Loved my stay at the Business Inn! The room was spacious and spotless with everything you might need thought of and included. The breakfast was a bonus - lots of options, clean and always being replenished. The highlight was the staff - always available, friendly and helpful. A gem in a great, walkable neighbourhood!
