We were concerned about the shared bathroom that was mentioned in our room type but the room had its own bathroom which was great. The room was small but it did not miss anything we needed for out one night stay (fridge, microwave, working TV).

Great proximity to the beach but very rundown and absolutely no amenities to speak of. Parking was difficult with few spaces in a very confined area. The owner (I assume) was friendly, but much work needs to be done to make improvements to the property as a whole.

We found cockroaches in the room and told front desk, who asked us to bring it up with the manager via phone. When we called the manager he said it was a mistake and insisted he's sorry but absolutely nothing was done about it... Overall it's a very dirty place and should be rated at as 1 Star*. No basic bathroom amenities (Soap, clean towels, etc).

The staff are more concerned about spending time outside on the sidewalk smoking than helping quests. My room didn’t have towels and I had to request them several times. In fact , I didn’t get them until the next morning. Also the shower stall had a hair ball floating around in it. A single hair I could handle but not a hair ball. The shower was definitely not cleaned in awhile.

The room was relatively inexpensive but only by $20 compared to other hotels in the area. The attendant was friendly but didn't have my reservation and had to call a friend to figure it out. The building inside and out was not well kept (dirt and dust in the corners) and everything was outdated with the main complaint was the room door. It didn't close very well and had no bolt lock, just a slide chain. The room was clean and had a mini fridge right beside the bed which was convenient. The shower was stained and dark and while I was showering I had a blast of ice cold water.

Room was just "sufficient", was clean, AC worked, roughly up kept, bare minimum. The one set of hooks in the bathroom were not attached, fell down... Half the room got covered in water when the shower was used, despite efforts to keep the curtain in place. Very minimal parking, not enough for all guests. Could have used some drinking cups, was nice to have a microwave and fridge, but had to run out for glasses. Was ok for this visit,but without more updated work would not return.

Windspire Inn was a great location. Only blocks from the beach. Our suite had a bedroom with queen bed, closet and TV. We were on the main floor with a door exiting to the parking lot. The seperate Kitxhen had a fridge, stove, dishwasher and kitchen table with 2 chairs. The kitchen was fully stocked woth cooking utensils and small appliances. We would definitely stay at th8s Inn again in the future.

Hotel was old house that had been converted to an Inn. Amenities only included two bath towels and one hand towel. No extra toilet paper. No wash clothes. Rooms had not been updated/painted in maybe 30-35 years. Steps were very steep and shallow. The only thing that kept the rating from being lower was the staff. They were pleasant when asked for something.

Impossible to justify this flop house as a motel!!! Staff need hotelier training. The owner is turning rooms into monthly cheap rents for "locals". There is no breakfast provided which is strange considering there is a dining room - and the "owners" run a fish and chip restaurant at this location. It was a lovely old quaint hotel close to a beach. At least it used to be clean. Bedding was well used and not spotless - no mattress cover in one case. It's finished as a motel.

I honestly don’t know how this place is allowed to operate as an inn. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the property was not just poorly maintained—it felt more like a halfway house than a legitimate place to stay. What made the experience even worse was that the room we were given was not the room we had booked. It was completely different from what had been advertised is misleading at best, and dishonest at worst. After seeing the condition of the property and the room, we made the decision not to stay at all. This was a complete waste of time and money, and a deeply disappointing experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering this inn to look elsewhere. What you see online is not what you will get in reality.
