The location is excellent. About 25 minute walk to city center. Close to shops. I stayed for 5 nights. Wifi was perfect. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, my shower wouldn't maintain a suitable temperature very long. I'd be turning the dial back and forth to either not be freezing or not be burned. The property is old. If you can appreciate an older building you'll be able to stay. But if your prefer a more maintained accomodation I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Expensive for the cleanliness and decor. Rooms were not ready even though we arrived 2 hours after the start of check in time. A few nice local places to eat.

This guest house is in a very good location with easy access to the city by bus or a 25 minute walk. Our beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Breakfast was a very basic continental one. Tea was made using hot water from a thermos flask which was not pleasant. There is limited on street parking.

Although we booked this property as it was walkable into Oxford, we checked out before staying in it for several reasons. There were hairs on the bed and floor and other stains which looked like blood on the floor. The room had clearly not been cleaned properly. Also the en-suite was tiny and the sliding door didn’t close properly so there was a gap which meant others could see you when sitting on the toilet. We told the owner that we were not going to stay for these reasons and asked for a refund as we then needed to find somewhere else to stay. She paid back half the amount. Such a pity as we were keen to support local places.
