Thanks for your kind feedback. We try our best. I see Expedia guests seem to love best, ‘restaurant, location and bar’ - we have a great location, but our neighbouring restaurant/bar, The Handlebar, is likely what they are pleased with..

Sorry for the problems you faced; this was an urgent roofing repair by the property landlord, outside of our control - however, repairs were supposed to be notified and only Thursday/Friday were notified to us. 8am was far too early. You are the first person I have known to have difficulty reaching help; intercom at front door / phone in hall or room - all reach reception. Receptionist noted one guest calling wanting an urgent call back, which guest would not provide their name nor number.. Nor yet did we receive any email about this problem.. Nor did we receive contact via Expedia.. The first I know is this anonymous review. If I identify you correctly.. I trust you were able to park your car successfully following my very thorough emailed reply to your queries? Since your review is anonymous, I cannot help you further - if you wish to contact Expedia about the problems you faced, or to email me, then I will be happy to hear from you and try to ease your dissatisfactions.

Thanks Iain We listen to all feedback and it does guide us.. We aim to replace the beds soon, with a more comfortable version of the Hypnos mattress in these.. the design benefits of the existing beds is quite debateable!

I am unclear why people do reviews anonymously without including details that could help another traveller nor help the accommodation to improve. I am sorry that you were, presumably, only moderately satisfied with your stay at Henry’s, but have no insight in to what you liked and what you disliked.
