Wheatley has all the facilities to meet your immediate needs - 2 foodstores, baker, coffee shop, post office, bank and choice of restaurants and pubs. The village has a long history through it's location on the main coaching route from London to Oxford - it was once descibed as the most agreeable stopping place between Beaconsfield and Woodstock. Today it's transport links are still excellent being just 2 miles from the Thornhills Park and Ride and a similar distance from the M40. There are regular bus services to Oxford and to Haddenham/Thame train station. Central London is c53 miles and Heathrow c45 miles, both have good public transport links.
