「Basic but adequate. Bathroom the worst element… toilet paper holder that wouldn’t stay closed and shower curtain on a compression rail that fell down a couple of times - we were only there one night! Breakfast fine. Beds very comfy. Seemed expensive for the quality. Communal areas very nice.」

「This was a wonderful stay in every way. A last minute trip and this place was so close to Calais yet felt very much off the beaten track. The restaurant is excellent and the physical space beautifully presented. The staff were all very welcoming and professional. One afternoon we took a stroll around the grounds which, in the autumn sunshine were impeccably kept and very pretty. We definitely going again!」

「I had to argue with the front desk over being charged for parking. The Expedia listing said parking was free. The front desk person kept trying to charge me for parking 3 euros. She refused to look at the listing, gave me a hard time and I stood my ground as politely as possible. The bathroom door had what looked like coffee or tea drip stains on it - like no one had cleaned it. There were no amenities to speak of. The sheet were scratchy.」

「The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the hotel facilities did not meet my expectations, especially considering the price. The property appears to be poorly maintained. The air conditioning in my room was not working properly and only blew warm air, making the room uncomfortable. The staff was helpful enough to change another room for me. The fitness studio is well equipped, but the opening hours (9:00 AM–9:00 PM)...
