"Very secluded for a nice reset and self-made yoga retreat. This was a beautiful spot to sit for hours, watching birds, the sunset, and the volcano in the mornings, and to simply enjoy life in nature. I enjoyed walking down the hill to the earth lodge for food and coffee, and the Italian restaurant was perfect! "

"Really enjoyed my one night at this beautiful little lake "cabin". Paula, the manager, was especially helpful with everything and communicated promptly with me when I had any questions, even outside normal business hours. Thank you Paula! It is accessed via a private dock and is tricky to access after normal lancha run-times from San Marcos, so plan accordingly and buy your supplies beforehand. "okay so let's start with cleanliness. it's obvious the house wasn't cleaned before we got there or the sheets. The bed sheets smelled dusty and the bathroom smelled like urine. The shower had someone's else hair on the walls and floor. The pool was not heated even though it did say it was. There's no tv which was okay to disconnect. there's no AC which was fine since it was cool at night and they did provide a fan. definitely make sure to stop by the supermarket to get food because restaurants...

"Breakfast was great! Pools were great! Travelled with 2 yo plenty of activities for him between play ground, trampoline and pools. Rooms spacious! We would definitely return. Resort was undergoing construction/maintenance but this did not bother us one bit. Not being able to bring food in didn’t bother us either."

"The hotel is very quaint and centrally located. The rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. The complementary breakfast was delicious. They do offer free parking but it's 3 blocks away. I just parked on the street but you do need to pay, munipay, via there website. M-F its $10 but F-S its $20. Overal it's a good hotel. Would recommend. "

"This property is truly wonderful. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Although we arrived early, one of our rooms was ready, and we were promptly allowed to check in. The rooms were both clean and spacious. I would gladly stay here again and offer my highest recommendation. Breakfast at the restaurant was also exceptional. "
