Stayed here for 1 night during our Rainer NP visit. The room was clean and quiet, with easy check-in. Multiple restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations nearby. And the price is the best in Packwood town. Highly recommend.

"This was a great base camp for visiting Mount Rainier National Park. The check-in staff was helpful and attentive, and the fast Wi-Fi was a big plus. It is also an easy walk or drive to local markets, restaurants, stores, and gas stations in Packwood.

The room was nice and the perfect place to stay in between my drives to Mount Rainier. The staff were super friendly and the fridge and microwave were an amazing addition. I would definitely stay here again!

The only upside was price was decent and proximity to hiking and park. Other than that the property is not well cared for. Room 10 needs updating, tv was broken, toilet seat is loose, shower doesn’t drain well. There were no washcloths upon arrival and no hand soap in bathroom. Room Needs a better cleaning and trash cans outside of rooms were all full and filled with rotting food and tons of flies.

This was the only room available on Labor Day so we took it! had a rough start because nobody was there to let me in/answer the 24 hour phone number, but, sounds like it is not a regular occurrence and the staff was actually really nice. I got the family studio suite and while we weren’t a full family (just us two), it seemed like something could fit four. It was spacious with a dining table and all of the kitchen equipment. The room was definitely a bit dated, but it was clean and the beds were decent. The shower was nice and hot! I wouldn’t call it fancy , but it did the job!

I've been to Packwood many times during their busy flea market days. I understand that only campers, hikers and Sunday drivers visit this town the rest of the year. This hotel has to survive by renting rooms long term which can lower the value of the property. Guest feel less safe as

Friendly and generally fine, but our room was a little rough. We did have a dog friendly room, so maybe those are worse? The security lock chain was ripped off the wall, the bathroom door was coming apart, and the outlets were too loose for a charger to stay in (noticed the lamp plug prong was actually bent to make it stay). Not terrible for noise, at least along the back. Beds were ok, had nice hot water, fridge and microwave were good. Parking spots are very tight. Easily walking distance from everything and you get a Rainier view from the corner.

The room was super clean and comfortable. The staff were so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The location was within walking distance of the restaurants and grocery store, like two minutes tops. Lastly, the view of the mountains was gorgeous from every angle. I will stay here again and will recommend to everybody.
