Mine was an off-season visit to this Lodge near the entrance to MT. Rainier National Park and White Pass ski area. It is a few miles outside of town, but well-maintained. The desk person was very friendly and helpful, and the property was pretty, and one could hear the Cowlitz River nearby.

Room was clean, the wifi was reliable during my stay which is good as I had no cell service. The jetted tub was strong with a nice balcony to sit on with a cup of coffee in the morning. The pans and cookware was a nice touch with a dishwasher to make it easier on the cleaning staff.

All was nice however, TV did not work. A new TV was installed and we couldn’t get it to work either. We gave up. We couldn’t let them know when we check out as the office staff did not come in until 8 and we left before that. Other than that all was great

We did two separate nights here and loved it. Great value for having a private cabin to ourselves. Property was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Cabins were individually decorated, but both had the lovely warm feel of a cabin with the wood floor and walls. Beds were comfortable and the jetted tub was fantastic. The kitchen had more than we needed for the trip, and you could definitely make some simple meals if you wanted. We stayed in #33 and #36 and both were unique (the table in #33 had a built in chessboard with pieces in the drawers), and it made for fun overnights during our trip through White Pass. Check in and check out were easy, and the woman we checked in with the first night gave us a great suggestion for access to the river. Would love to stay here again!

We liked our stay at the Packwood Lodge room was spacious and clean. The only downside was being on the bottom floor of the people above. We could hear moving around a lot, and the bed wasn't super comfortable.

The room was clean and had almost all the amenities we needed. Ice trays would have been helpful. Ice is available in the lobby but there are pretty limited hours.
