This was a charming family-run hotel with very helpful and gracious hosts. The room was small and the mattresses a bit hard, however we only staid one night. Breakfast was delicious and convenient (but not included in the room rate). It is in a very good location for taking in Padova's main sites.

Great service, amazing staff and beautiful town!

Excellent! Gianno and his staff are friendly and really care about the customer experience. If I had to do it over again I would stay in this hotel and commute into Venice. That hotels in Venice we're not nearly as wheelchair accessible, and the staff there we're not super empathetic or friendly. The whole town is a slower pace than a place like Venice and definitely family-friendly!

I recently stayed here and had a very nice experience which would make me want to go back and stay there again when in Padova. The reasons are simple and they are: a) reasonably priced overall, b) friendly and helpful staff, c) run as a small family business- this really makes me want to support these aspects of the society as it is the heartbeat of the local community there, d) close to a number of amenities and public transport- the tram line is very close by so you can access different parts of the city easily. All in all i fully recommend based on my experience.

Posizione comodissima, a due passi dalla fermata del tram, se si arriva con il treno e poi a due passi da S.Antonio e dall'orto botanico, ma comunque a 10minuti a piedi da qualunque piazza del centro. Gentilissimi i proprietari e disponibili. Consigliatissimo.

Charmant accueil , séjour agréable à Al Fagiano

Accueil très charmant par la propriétaire du lieu. Petit déjeuner buffet assez complet, proche des lieux à visiter et tram à 5 stations de la gare très pratique avec les valises.

O hotel é muito estiloso e confortavel, com arte por todos os lugares. Muito bem localizado a poucos passos da igreja de Santo Antônio, mas não sabia que tinha que pagar 10 Euros pelo estacionamento. Se soubesse eu não teria escolhido o hotel. Nao estava claro esse custo adicional.

Comme chez soi à Padoue

Très belle surprise de découvrir l'hôtel Al Fagione Art Hotel et sa localisation idéale dans Padoue, qui plus est au calme, et facilement accessible de la gare par bus. Excellent accueil, disponibilité du personnel, chambres claires et très propres. Petits-déjeuners très sympas.

I don't recommend this hotel.

It was close to the Basilica of St Anthony, which is why we chose it. The service was non-existent. We couldn't find anywhere to eat at 10pm on a Friday night. The staff was not helpful. The decor was not "art" rather a hodge podge of junk. The toilet didn't flush properly. When checking out, the staff would only allow us to pay taxes in euro rather than put it on a charge. They would not give us directions to get a ticket for a tram/bus other than to say "it is over there."

Hotel a fianco della basilica di Sant'Antonio. Personale molto disponibile e competente. La mia camera era bruttina. Opere d'arte riciclate ovunque con colori troppo sgargianti. Bagno un po' vecchio e cieco. Affaccio sul retro di un palazzo pieno di condutture da cucina. Brutto

Ignore the art and sleep well at Hotel al Fagiano

This is not a high end hotel but it provided what was expected for the price. It was clean and well located near the basilica, breakfast fine with great coffee. The only bummer is that the hotel is filled to bursting with the owner’s eclectic art pieces. There is no place to rest your eyes as every inch has been covered or highlighted or enhanced with some recycled substance and I can guarantee your room will sport a massive art installation above the bed. Mine even lit up!

De passage à Padoue pour une journée (roadtrip avec mes deux frères en partant de Paris direction Dubrovnik en Croatie), l'hôtel est situé juste à côté de la basilique où sont les reste de Saint Antoine. Le centre ville avec les principaux musées et monuments à voir sont à moins de 5 minutes à pied. L'hôtel est calme, les chambres sont agréables, le petit déjeuner coûte 7e/par personne.

2 minutes from San Antonio church, spacious rooms, big bathroom, and generous breakfast. the decoration is a bit odd and hallways small but overall its an excellent option if you want to be on this side of town. 12 min direct Tram from train station

Sejour de 2 nuits. Hôtel très bien situé dans le centre de Padoue, proche d'un arrêt de bus et du tram. Accueil le premier jour par un monsieur très sympa. Veilleur de nuit sympa aussi. Une autre dame la journée souriante. Chambre donnant sur rue mais pas trop de bruit. Par contre style très vieillot, d'un autre âge. Confort de la literie complètement à revoir. 2 matelas de 90 côte à côte dont un assez ferme, mais l'autre mou et avec un "trou" qui faisait rouler vers le centre. Le sommier était compose de planches sur des barres en fonte. Draps propres. Petite TV sur pied. Salle de bain vieillotte également, plutôt propre. Globalement on se serait crus 20 ans en arrière. Mais c'est vraiment le confort du lit qui a tout gâché, dommage..
