I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Nigel was awesome and he allowed an early check-in for me as well. Nice private Cottage with all the necessities provided, with the added bonus of amazing views from the front overlooking the mountains.

We chose this cottage for its charm and location. We were not let down. Also Nigel set us up for the most fantastic local walk the next day. His knowledge of the stories of the area added to our enjoyment and interest whilst exploring the tunnels. Local knowledge is invaluable when travelling.

Hier kann man es mehrere Tage aushalten.

Das Cottage ist sehr ruhig gelegen, im Garten der Eigentümer neben ihrem Haus. Es hat alles was man braucht, um sich wohlzufühlen. Keine Heizung vorhanden, sodass es morgens recht frisch war wenn es draussen nur 10 Grad hat. Das Bett ist bequem und das Bad grosszügig.

Peaceful and comfortable - a home away from home

We had a really wonderful stay, the hosts Nigel and Pam were so welcoming and informative, the cottage was warm and cosy, with everything we needed for a two night stay (including high chair and portacot). Excellent location, right up the road from Karangahake Gorge and also ideal for little day trips to Paeroa/Waihi/Te Aroha/Morrinsville. I would definitely stay here again!

A little piece of heaven

Perfect cottage with everything you need. Stocked with supplies for a light breakfast and self catering meals. Lovely day walks right from the gate. If you like the pictures, the property is all that and more! Excellent hosts with lots of local history and knowledge of the area. Was very sad to leave after 3 days

Lovely walks near by

The owners were very welcoming and took the time to explain the surrounding area and we took their advice and walked around one of the trails which was very pretty indeed.

Lifesavers

The most big hearted, warm, friendly and welcoming couple I've met in a while. Lifesavers they were! The property was beautiful didn't stay long enough to appreciate it sadly. Beautiful property, wonderful hosts, great stay my daughter and I felt very welcome.
