“Excellent place to stay for fishing in the Lake Okeechobee. Nice service. I definitively come back again. I recommend strongly the place to rest and be out of the city noise.”

“Advertisement said Historic aka “old” and neglected. A beautiful place once with a great history but it’s over. A beautiful but closed bar with hand painted murals that was charming in its day. The room was small, lacking outlets, bathroom without a shelf or hook, curtains that could not cover the windows completely to block out the stadium light glare from the 8 pickle ball courts outside our window. We had a king bed with 3 pillows so I asked for another pillow at the desk and the girl said ,……

“Every thing was top notch. I would only suggest that two blankets be supplied in double bed rooms. ”

“We think we left something in the room and I’ve called all day to talk to someone and they never answered and no answering machine. There was evidently a leak in the bathroom as the floor grout stayed wet. Don’t think the room was worth what we paid. TV channels were nil to none.”

“The room lacked lights, it was just too dark! Also the floor (carpet) in the room was not clean. The coffee in the breakfast tasted no flavor, and the pancake tasted a little strange. We stayed for 5 days and the experience was only saved by friendly greetings from the staff. However I will choose Holiday Inn Express next time.”
