“Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. ”

The house has so many extra touches, including fresh cut flowers from the garden in a vase upon our arrival. Craigs Creek is larger than I expected. I have lived places that this would be called a small river and it is lovely. The property provided canoes and kayaks with paddles and life jackets. We checked in on Friday and Checked out on Sunday. “This little house was perfect for us. Plenty of room for what we needed. We visit the area evey year for a family reunion and the location was close to all our family activities. We had a small problem with the water heater that was resolved in less than an hour. Thanks so much!”

“This was our 5th stay at this beautiful place. We love everything about it! It is quiet and peaceful and feels very far away - but we can get to downtown Blacksburg in 15 minutes. It is very close to lots of great hiking places. The fenced in area is perfect for dogs (just check for deer before you let them out!)The hosts are very easy to communicate with. We had to change our dates at the last minute, and they worked with me to find new dates. We will be back! ”

“Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. The nearby creek and the fenced in back yard was a plus. The king size bed was absolutely WONDERFUL. The best nights of sleep I've had in years lol. The host was amazing!
