「Communication from the owner was excellent. The staff was amazing and patient with our lack of Spanish. The food was delicious and made dining stress free for my wife and me. The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car. Thanks for caring for us during our stay!」

「Extremely friendly and caring host, who was immensely helpful and went well above and beyond what one could reasonably expect. Beautiful property, very nice outdoor area with a creek. Felt very safe and the local community was very friendly. Very comfortable bed. The only inconveniences were a couple internet outages and some moth flies in the bathroom, but these are the sort of things I expect at this price point and did not at all detract from the wonderful time I had there! 「The grounds are just spectacular. The colors of all the plants and landscaping in general was amazing. We have eaten lunch there before but decided to spend the night. The room was spacious and even had a covered patio. The food, as always, was also excellent. Nice break from the heat of the beach. I highly recommend spending some time exploring the Golden Frog. 」
