The hotel is in a run down area. The reception staff served us like we were at a train station ticket counter. The restaurant staff was inattentive and the food beyond criticism. It may help forcing their chef at gunpoint to eat it himself. The only bright spot was the room, which was spacious and functional.

Don’t! Poorly situated near a fruit and veg wholesale market. Bus link to city centre infrequent and unreliable, last bus 21:25. Hotel staff unfriendly and surly. Accommodation Spartan and dated. Breakfast awful, limited and poor quality. Hotel overrun by unruly adolescent fellow guests.

The hotel's glory years are behind it. It needs a really good refurbishment. Unpleasant service except one lady in the receptuon area and cleaning staff on the sixth floor. We had unworking shower on 9th floor but after conversation with reception the room has been changed for 6th floor. Poor breakfast. Small selection. Dirty tablecloths and sticky appliances. Very slow service. Not very interested in guests and what is going on in the room. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

Staff were mostly pleasant although not hugely helpful. The bar and reception area are nice. The room was clean and the hairdryer in the bathroom was good. Pictures of a standard room on Expedia are actually of a superior room (we were told when we shared them with reception staff) so the rooms are dated with few amenities - certainly no kettle for example. We were told we could have hot water for drinks whenever but this actually meant at breakfast service when the urn was either tepid or empty. The hotel is a long way from the sights of Palermo and the 107 bus unreliable. It's a long walk through a run down neighbourhood (don't do it alone) or a 20 euro taxi ride from the centre. Don't stay here unless you have your own transport. Splash out on something nicer nearer the centre.

Un poco antiguo, simplemente correcto. Quizás le sobre una estrella, por lo demás bien. La zona llena de basuras por las aceras plásticos, cartones papeles, cajas de frutas etc Tenia pintas de no ser zona segura, pero parece ser que no era así.

Hotel, wie schon beschrieben, in die Jahre gekommen. Foyer tipptopp, die Zimmer wohl aus den Achzigern, genauso wie das Equipment (Telefon, Radio am Bett??)!! Umgebung, aufgrund des Gemüsegrossmarkts, total runtergekommen und schmutzig. Überall Müllberge. Frühstück ausreichend und gut, außer dem Kaffee aus dem Automat!!! Ungenießbar!! Besser, man frägt das Personal nach einem Café oder Cappuccino, der wird dann frisch, im Hinterzimmer, zubereitet und schmeckt hundertmal besser. Personal aufmerksam und freundlich!

The outer design of the building is beautiful, and the front desk staff were very helpful, polite, and able to make communication easy (as I do not speak Italian very well). I highly recommend.

The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are not. Hard beds, old moldy tiled bathrooms. No shower just a tub. We had mosquito bites all over us in one day.

Terrible stay!
The only good thing was check in process, easy and quick. Other than this everything was bad weak poor dirty. Was not enough space for car parking, we had to park outside across the street and during the parking some kind of mafia person asked us to pay him he said because he was going to protect our car. Room was dirty. Bathroom and furniture was very very old was dead actually. There was rust in bathtub. Window was not sliding it was broken. Breakfast service style was from 80s whole set up was terrible, full of industrial cheap cheap products on buffet, not enough cutlery, coffee was burnt when I added milk it turned into grey color. Housekeeping never tidied up our room during our stay. I had a coffee at lobby bar, they could not charge to my room, I had to pay separately, I had to go my room and bring the credit card for paying.

VIEJO, COCHAMBROSO, MALA ATENCIÓN, SIN WIFI
Hotel muy viejo, necesita una remodelación de todo. Me dieron una habitación prehistórica, el agua fría del baño no funcionaba, el armario no se podía abrir, la cama dura como una piedra, como si estuvieras durmiendo en el suelo, no funcionaban los enchufes, el wifi del hotel no iba, después de quejarme, al día siguiente me dieron una que “supuestamente” mejor, pero era más o menos lo mismo. Al final la habitación realmente no me importa demasiado, pero viajando por trabajo como hago yo, el wifi es importante porque debo hacer gestiones por email, etc. He reclamado cada día que no estaba funcionando y cada día me decían que al día siguiente estaría arreglado, he estado una semana en el hotel y no han arreglado nada. En recepción no han hecho caso alguno, incluso he pedido hablar con un responsable y nunca pude hacerlo, por lo tanto, una atención pésima y bastante desagradable. Por mi experiencia no lo recomiendo en absoluto y por supuesto no volveré a ese hotel jamás. Pienso ponerlo en todos los foros para que no os timen.

Palermo a city in decay.
A good hotel and service. A bit if a walk from the centre but manageable- just, as it was unseasonably hot. Local area is run down - but so is most of Palermo.
