This apartment is amazing just metres from the Quattro Canti and great restaurants. The apartment is immaculate, three bedrooms and room to spread out. The host’s communications and prior to our arrival was fantastic and met us to guide us and the car into the apartment. I can’t speak highly enough of this apartment- probably the best I have ever stayed in.

Outstanding location! Franco and Maria were wonderful hosts. Franko even arranged a transfer from the airport for us. We travel in Europe frequently, staying in holiday homes, and we put this in the top three. Hope to return with our son and daughter-in-law.

Perfect lovation!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay! Communication from the point of making the reservation all the way through our stay and after was outstanding. The property was in an amazing location close to everything! it was clean and well appointed. Franco helped guide us through some hiccups with our luggage not making it on our connecting flight. He truly went above and beyond...we look forward to a return visit to Palermo soon!!

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Petra! We appreciate them letting us check in early since our flight got in early in the day. The apartment is in a very busy area. It was a little loud at night, but we kept the windows closed and it didn't bother us. We had 4 adults and 2 teens and stayed for 2 nights. It was a little hard with there being only 1 shower, but it worked for us since it was a short stay. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the location and the fact we could walk everywhere. Would stay again! Thank you Franco!

It started long before our stay. The host went above and beyond for us. He reserved a safe place we could leave our car (which i highly recommend because parking is rough). He also booked us attwo wonderful restaurants. The apartment was just as described, wonderful. But what i didnt realize was the main area is literally like 15 steps from the apartment which was so convenient. I could go on and on. I would highly recommend this place to everyone i know traveling to Palermo!!! Thanks again for all of the added touches that made our vacation even better and less stressful. Location, location, location

Franco was extremely helpful. He not only made sure someone was available to get us right in, but he arranged for parking for our rental car as well. We could not have asked for a better location. It is right off the Main Street with plenty of restaurants and stores easily in walking distance. It was extremely easy to get to the sights without long walks or taking taxis. There was such an amazing vibe right outside your front door. The main living area felt a little cramped and looked bigger in the pictures, but the bedrooms were enormous with very comfortable beds. As long as you don’t mind a little street noise outside your windows (very little) and you enjoy night life this is the place for you. I highly recommend this property.

At the crossroads of the beating heart of the historic quarter

What an amazing location... just a short walk to churches, markets and the cathedral as well as the eating area on the next block. Check in and out was very easy with photos of each step of the process to access the building and the key safe, as well as rapid responses from Franki & Maria. When we asked for a 2nd set of keys for the 4 adults, these were dropped off very quickly. There's just 10 steps up from the ground floor to the front door. The living space of the apartment felt small so we didn't spend much time there as there was plenty to do in Palermo anyway. There was bathroom but also a 2nd toilet separate. The bedding description had changed since we booked so it is now more accurate as we had expected 4 double beds but found 2 doubles, a sofa bed and 2 singles.

Communication was excellent. Maria and Franco would assist with anything we needed quickly. The best thing about the apartment is the location. It’s in the heart of Palermo and we were able to walk everywhere. The 3 bedrooms are an adequate size. The living/kitchen/dining area is very small. There is air conditioning in all the bedrooms. The only issue we had was that if the air conditioner was on, you were unable to use the hair dryer or the washing machine. The lights would go out and we learned how to flip the switch in the outside hallway. The apartment is on the older side but provided everything you would need. I would recommend it for anyone wanting to explore Palermo but not planning to spend much time in the apartment.

I can not even begin to describe how amazing Franco was. This property is located only a few steps from the literal center of historic Palermo. Franco was incredible enough to coordinate a parking spot at the in city parking garage, the ZTL parking pass, and even meeting us at a location to guide us to where we parked; all of those things were incredibly helpful and we would have been lost without them. The property is exactly as described; extremely spacious, well appointed, and three nice bedrooms. The property is very clean. He even had four itineraries printed out of things to do for the day around the area. He had some lovely little breakfast items for us for the mornings of our stay. Franco checked on us throughout our stay and even took the initiative to help rectify an issue that had nothing to do with him or his property. He truly went above and beyond. He was more than a host to his property, he was a host to his country. We will absolutely stay with him again.

The apartment building and the apartment itself were clean and updated. It is in a location that some people may say is convenient as it is in the center of things - literally right next to the Quattro Canti and on Via V. Emmanuel. However, I didn't like the area of the apartment building or the area by the parking garage for our rental car. Crowded, graffiti when entering alley to apartment, homeless people nearby (and i live in NYC so I am used to this, but don't want to see it when I travel). We had stayed in the Politeama area when we arrived in Palermo a week earlier, but the hotel we stayed at was not available for our last night in Palermo after touring Sicily. So I found this apartment and the price was inexpensive, got good ratings and is very nice for the price, and we only needed to sleep there and get up early and leave. So didn't really experience any amenities in the kitchen. Please be aware that the electricity cannot handle a hair dryer and 3 bedroom air conditioners going at the same time. The fuse blew and thankfully I could feel for my phone in front of me and was able to turn on the flashlight, as it was night time and dark. The host and his associate were very accessible and responsive for this issue and any time I contacted them, however, they can only communicate in English through What's App using a translator app. They both said their English is not good.
