Friendly & helpful staff. Great location with easy access to bars, shops, restaurants & attractions. I would happily stay here again. The decor was a bit dated but property was clean.
The staff was exceptional and courteous. Special thanks to both Giuseppe and Michaela at reception for extraordinary services to us. Pristine rooms, excellent breakfast. Fabulous upscale hotel in a perfect location across from Teatro Massimo.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
This is a great place with good location. The only problem is the entrance to the hotel you have to go up a flight of stairs. Also this place is a little limited when it comes to facilities.
Stairs from street to hotel which is on first floor could be a problem.
Breakfast good but not enough coffee and not enough table space or plates.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Probably not families with young children.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is superb, the rooms are beautiful and the included breakfast exceeds anything we could have anticipated. Having said that, the staff are the true draw at this hotel. They made us feel welcome, they assisted us with any request and made us feel at home. We would highly recommend this property.
The hotel staff were fabulous. Very friendly and helpful. Our room looked out to Massimo Teatro, which was beautiful. It's a very lively area.I was traveling with a friend and requested twin beds. The beds were a little stiff for my liking. Even though our room faced the main drag, once we closed our balcony door, the room was quiet. I would definitely go back to this hotel.
The hotel has a great location in the old town of Palermo, you can't stay more centrally in Palermo. The hotel is of the older style but very elegant. Very nice and service-oriented staff. An excellent breakfast is included in the price. I can really recommend thi
This hotel was a small, quaint hotel. Breakfast included, was delivered to your room daily. Convenient walking distance to the markets, beautiful Cathedrals, train station, the pier, and plenty of shops and dining experiences. The area reminded me of a New York (Manhattan) vibe during the day, and on the weekends at night, in New Orleans, I would stay here again. Make sure to ask the staff for restaurant suggestions for dinner in the area, their recommendations were so good.
Great location. Great service. Two negative points:
1) to go from the street to the lobby guests have to walk up 12 steps, which is not an easy task when one has to carry luggage.
2) before checkout, there was no electricity. The hotel was deprived of hot water and light, to name a few issues.
The staff is wonderful and the location walkable. The hotel itself is in major need of an upgrade. The carpet in the room is very worn and the bathroom needs to be remodeled. The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful and the location very walkable.

Old country with old stuff. Wonderful staff and food but the entire area does need some general maintenance updates.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Hotel was well placed near centre. Staff were helpful, although had to phone from home to get parking instructions as emails went unanswered. Area was noisy until midnight and music started blaring at 6:30am in the morning. Hotel was reasonably clean but needs an upgrade Overall this was not a 4 star hotel based on others in Sicily.
This hotel should be rated as 2 star, not 3 star. It did not justify daily rate we paid. Was surprised by poor quality of property and room. Good location and nice staff but little else.
The hotel is centrally located between the older, scenic part of the city along via Maqueda, where there is a multitude of shops, street vendors, restaurants and small bars. The Massimo theatre is across the street and was a lively place to sit and people watch. In addition to opera and other shows hosted there, the view of the building is quite beautiful in itself. The slightly remodeled section of the city is to the right of the hotel coming out of the front doors which leads to a completely different feel of the city. Although Palermo can seem a bit rough around the edges, do not be afraid to walk the streets of the older side, that’s where you will stumble upon the magic. Longer daytime walking of 15-20 mins here and there will lead to some of the most spectacular architectural wonders. If you can look beyond the crumbling cascade of post WWII damage and appreciate the dichotomy of old and new, you will find the real beauty in the complex multiculturalism, lightheartedness in the people, and a ton of hidden gems.
