The staff at this place seem like they need to go through training again...I was told 5 different prices for my total for the 5 days I stayed there ranging from $339 - $520. How is it that the staff has no clue what someone owes? Yes, I did contact the hotel about this issue and they won't even acknowledge the fact that I was told 5 different prices for the 5 nights, all they care about is letting me know that "I wasn't overcharged." How about you listen to my actual problem and see that I was told multiple prices and the fact that it ranges between $200 is insane to me...In my opinion if your staff told someone 5 different prices for their hotel room because they don't know how to work the computers, then you need to honor the lower price considering this threw me through a loop and I had no clue how much money was going to be taken out of my account until days after I checked out. This absolutely blows my mind and I will not be staying here again and I will be warning others about the experience I had here.

The information provided to you by our front desk was accurate. According to Expedia, your charges were 399.54, plus 74.75 in fees, and a 50 security authorization. Totaling 524.29, including the security deposit authorization. However, at check-in, you insisted the total was 339.95, indicating some confusion about the total cost of your stay. For your reference, I have shared a screenshot of your Expedia reservation.

The stay was good. It was nice and quiet. AC worked well. Breakfast was good. Microwave and mini fridge in the room. Nicely decorated. Good experience with the staff. Friendly. My credit card was charged, then I had to pay the taxes once I checked in, which was fine. I gave my debit card for that. An hour later, found a "pending charge" for the full night's stay and the next day another pending charge for another $32 and change. When I asked at check out what they were, the first charge was "a hold" and then the taxes would take out and the rest put back on my card. The second charge, no one could figure out what that is for and no manager on the premises. The front desk clerk said he would talk to the manager about it. So very helpful staff, but be prepared for charges no one can explain. Other than this, I do recommend the place if you need a place to stay.

People are living in the woods near the Microtel building. A tractor trailer parked in the parking lot and left the trailer there over night. The plumbing in my room was in need of repair. The toilet ran off and on and the bathtub leaked a lot.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had at your establishment. On March 23, 2024, I was charged a smoking fee of $150 on my bill, despite being a non-smoker and adhering strictly to your hotel’s non-smoking policy. Upon discovering this charge, I immediately contacted your front desk to rectify the situation. However, the staff was unhelpful and insisted that the fee was valid, despite my protests and assurances of my non-smoking status. This lack of understanding and cooperation from your staff only exacerbated my frustration and disappointment. I must emphasize that I did not engage in any smoking activities during my stay at your hotel. Therefore, I find it unjust and unacceptable to be charged for a violation I did not commit. It is evident that this fee was applied erroneously or fraudulently, and I demand a full refund of the amount charged. Furthermore, I am deeply concerned about the integrity of your billing practices and the potential for other guests to be similarly unjustly charged. I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take immediate action to refund the smoking fee charged to my account. Additionally, I expect assurances that steps will be taken to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future and to improve the training and responsiveness of your staff in handling guest complaints.

Our housekeeping supervisor meticulously inspects every room post-checkout, and unfortunately, we discovered evidence of smoking near the window coupled with a strong smoke odor within the room.Please find attached the picture taken by our room inspector during the inspection.As per our policy, upon check-in, you acknowledged and signed the smoking fees charge clause on the registration card, which stipulates that smoking fees can amount up to 250.Regrettably, no refund will be issued, and we consider this matter closed.Thank you for your understanding.Sincerely,Manager

Front desk receptionist (forgot his name?) provided me and my family exceptional service. He was polite, will spoken, and has a great sense of humor. That was awesome. But once I stepped into the elevator and got to the third floor of my suite I felt like I was deceived. Nothing look like the photos I saw online when I booked my reservations. The carpet hallways were absolutely dirty and full of stains. My suite was clean but not completely clean. My TV was broken. I had to watch TV for 3 days with lines coming horizontally on the screen. As for the breakfast all I did was just have coffee ☕️ but let me tell you that the gentleman that prepared or keep everything nice and neatly during breakfast was super nice! All staff was very polite and and outgoing. Doing a good job in customer service. I just feel like the place or the building needs some upgrades. (Paint, remodel, change or steam clean the carpets. I would not recommend this place to friends or family. Unless I find out they have done some upgrades?
