Love this Mid-Century home!

Love the history of this Mid-century modern home! It was like stepping back in history. The landscaped yard and pool were so beautiful. A wonderful variety of activities and restaurants to visit. Thank you for great time and memories!

The backyard was beautiful and kept up pretty well. Unfortunately the inside of the house was not as well maintained. It definitely is in need of up keep and a very good deep cleaning of bathrooms and floors

Great Family Stay in Palm Springs

My wife, kids (11 &13) spent a lovely 7 nights here. The property manager was very responsive when we arrived and couldn’t find everything. The property was extremely clean and pretty big! They had everything we needed for our week. The backyard is definitely a highlight. The pool is quite large and comfortable, we had it heated. The backyard is very private and huge! There are three fire pits and lots of flowering and citrus trees. The beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. The bathrooms had everything we needed. One tip is that there are two blow dryer and one is way better than the other.Overall we had a great time here as our home base

The outdoor living area was fantastic. Our dog and toddler loved all of the space. Well stocked kitchen and linen closet. Great location close to downtown Palm Springs. The airport abutting the property was not even noticeable and not disruptive at all.

The house was very clean and the outdoor space was the highlight. It’s in a great location and in a quiet neighborhood. The home gives you a glimpse of what life was like in the 1960s in Palm Springs!

Private oasis in the desert

We had a fabulously relaxing holiday. The house is as represented in the photos- cool, private and great locale. Things seemed to work efficiently at check-in and check-out. We would definitely use vrbo again.

A cool slice of history

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The home is beautiful, and filled with time-period touches that make the place eclectic and unique. The space itself is comfortable --clean, cool, and welcoming. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook meals, and the outdoor space is amazing. We enjoyed swimming in the fantastic pool, and lounging in the outdoor spaces. A short drive to downtown Palm Springs, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the beautiful neighborhoods. Highly recommend this place!

Great backyard

Loved the view of the mountains and airplanes from the expansive yard. It was hard to decide where to sit sometimes. I also loved the Jack LaLanne memorabilia. The house could use some fresh paint in some rooms but is well appointed and comfortable.

A Great Palm Springs Getaway

A neat older home with great outdoor spaces. Would recommend spending the extra money to have the pool heated (FYI, this must be done before checking in) as even on a 105 degree day some guests felt the water was too cold. Having a carport in Palm Springs was a welcome feature.

You cannot beat the quality of this rental. Beautiful art, lovely pool, 5 different areas in the backyard and pool deck to relax, which means you can always find shade or sun. GREAT pool. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, for cooking and dining. Good beds and plenty of linens. There were 5 of us, all adults and the layout was perfect. Sure, it could use a little bit of love, maybe replace some floor moldings and freshen up paint in a couple of areas, but other than that, you couldn’t ask for more. We would come back to this place in a New York minute.

Could have been excellent but….

Great house and location. However, we had a full day of no internet, so no TV, and thermostat control. I called the Vacassa help center and the local manager was summoned to assist. I had to go to local hotel to finish some work on my computer due to internet issues.The next day everything worked as it should. The place was clean and presentable.

Perfect house - great service

This house was ideal for three people and a dog. The backyard was HUGE - so many sitting areas - a huge pool and hot tub - so much space for eating and hanging outside. The house was clean with every amenity possible. Covered parking was very nice in the Palm Springs heat. The only issue was the AC wasn’t working great - especially in the master bedroom. However the management company sent someone out to repair and replace the motor and everything was fine after that. Great location near the 10 and the airport. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Great Property!

The home was comfy and the yard was amazing. I found the property management impersonal, automated and unaccommodating. We booked this home for Thanksgiving and asked repeatedly for either photos of the kitchen cabinet contents or an inventory of the kitchen contents so we would know what to bring/leave home to cook our holiday meal. We never got this info and had to pack pots, pans and utensils only to find many items we needed in the home’s kitchen.

Great Stay!

We had a great stay at this property. Location in North Palm Springs had a lot more airplane noise than expected. House was clean and in good shape. Had an issue with a few pieces of furniture that needs attention but Turnkey was able to address it quickly. The only feedback would be that the house needs a little more upkeep for the amount paid. Stuff you wouldn't see in the pictures. (i.e. some trim on the house needed to be repaired, the bathroom mirrors were a little foggy, touch-up painting, etc.) That said, we would gladly rent this property again! Worked great for our family with younger kids and pets. Great pool and views.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I had a wonderful experience staying at Jack LaLanne's house in Palm Springs. It's in a very quiet neighborhood only a 5 minute drive into Palm Springs. The pool was an outstanding feature and the house is a classic mid-modern century home. We enjoyed the Jack LaLanne memorabilia throughout the house. Turnkey property management was outstanding. We had some very minor issues that got resolved immediately. Enjoyed their quick responses and "can do" attitude. I would highly recommend Jack'home. We will return.
