「I’m going to start off with saying The manor is beautiful. I found this gem kinda last minute and I’m glad I did. It is very clean, quiet and I felt mostly like I had it to myself. There were other guests who were staying but unless if I seen their vehicle or faintly heard them when I went to the Bathroom, I’d have never known. So as many others state, there is no breakfast, the owner you have to call upon arrival, they explain why and they are so nice. But I didn’t stay there for the...

However, there were several times during my 2-night stay where staff were standing directly next to the entrance door smoking cigarettes - you couldn't enter or exit the building without being covered in second-hand smoke - digusting! I was in town for family weekend at one of the local colleges so I realize demand was high, but the $170/night room charge was significantly more than the property should be charging given the condition -...

「This was by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The rooms were dirty, the hallways were dirty, the dining room was dirty and I arrived when it opened. There was only stale bread and milk in the fridge that was spoiled. One front desk staff was polite but would not pass on contact info for the manager. I did email him 3 times with no response. I left after one night but was charged another night for early checkout. Please do not stay there, it is inhabitable.」
