Overall great condo. The worst part was the elevators. It could be very long waits to get an elevator and being on the 16th floor the stairs weren’t an option.

Nice condo with a separate bathroom for each of the bedrooms and for the hallway bunk bed areas. Across the street from McDonald’s, a Thai food restaurant and Marcos pizza. The condo pools are on the sides of the resort, along with a tiki bar. (15.00 for a frozen alcoholic drink at the little snack store) The elevators can be slow and take a little patience, if you have a long wait you are supposed to call for assistance. We only had one small issue which was immediately addressed when I texted management. Condo comes with beach chairs. Also, comes with the little soaps, shampoo, and conditioners which came in handy because I forgot my shampoo. Very clean and well stocked with basics in the kitchen. We had a great vacation!

Tidewater

First of all this is no reflection of the rental property company. They were amazing and were very helpful and prompt to return calls and messages!! Price was very fare!The problem is with the facility itself “Tidewater” I have stayed in various condos in PCB over the years . The elevator situation is typically not the best in July and the rest of the prime season at most resorts. Tidewater takes it to a whole new terrible/bad. The is no reason to have to wait 30 plus minutes on an elevator and if this is the norm then you fix it! Even if that means spending extra money to build new elevators some where. Or make some elevators service the upper levels and some service the lower levels. The answer is not to have an attendance picking someone up on the 24th floor and taking them to the ground floor without stopping. You also need to make sure they are in good working order at all times. I have stayed with this resort before and it was the same then.

Nice property

The property was very nice and loved our condo. The elevators were horrible and you have to wait for a long time. They are very strict about not allowing tents and umbrellas on their property. You can put them in front of the property line or on the left side of the beach chairs. If you are in the wrong place they will make you move!

Everything with the Room was excellent except the sofa bed was very uncomfortable so we bought a blow up mattress. Great location.

Elevators are horrible!!!

Read the reviews....the elevators are ALWAYS down. I spoke to several people that had stayed previous years and I myself also stayed before....elevators are always down. If you can trek the stairs...stay there, if not, book elsewhere!

Probably would not use again

It was not clear to me who to contact when there was a problem. The owner of the property was not communicative and reply to my issue. The condo was extremely hot and the fridge did not cool so I lost all the food that I had purchased. However, the staff was extremely polite and courteous.

The condo itself was great. The rental company is amazing. Four star condos. The elevator situation is pretty terrible and the beach is super crowded. I still Had a great time. Just be prepared lol

Everything was great with the room and stay . The only thing I didn’t like was the rental beach chairs were to close leaving no room to put and umbrella and chairs at the shore.

Wonderful condo, very busy building

The condo was wonderful, the elevators were extremely slow. The resturant in the building is very slow and over priced food. Everything else was wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was very clean, updated and nice. The only cons were that the beds were very hard and not comfortable at all. The elevator situation is a little frustrating also. Overall would definitely stay again .

Loved Our Stay

We had a great time and the unit was perfect for us. Of course the pullout couch isn’t the most comfortable but I don’t think any are and yes the elevator situation is a bit of a pain (however we met a lot of great people squeezing in or waiting for one) but for the unit, the view, and the memories we make at the Tidewater, it is 100% worth it! My daughters and their friends still want to stay here twice a year and this would be a great unit to rent again!

October 2021

This trip was our first to stay at Tidewater. The facility itself has the same issues as all large condos. Slow elevators. The parking garage has one walkover on the second floor, which rarely has parking available. So you have to take the stairs or wait for another elevator to get to the second floor to walk across the street. They do have plenty of luggage carts and shopping carts which made it nice to haul our stuff up to the room. Upon arrival there was an issue with the television not working. We arrived late so had to call the next morning. The management company was quick to respond and polite and courteous. The condo itself seemed like it needed some cosmetic work. Small things like a door handle on the pantry. The front door looked like it was beat up. There was sand on the floor when we first arrived and hadn’t been to the beach yet, and the balcony furniture was just so so. We enjoy spending time on our balcony and it was very small, In width and length, compared to other places we have stayed. The most disappointing thing is that there is a runoff drain directly to the left of the property when looking at the beach. This drained pond water from across the street into the gulf and turned the water brown. It was like swimming in tea and a huge eyesore. Had we known about this prior to booking we would have went elsewhere. In order to sit at a beach with clear water, we had to drag all our stuff a couple blocks in either direction, which kind of defeats the amenities of having a beach front condo with chair service. The condo did provide each bathroom with 2 rolls of toilet paper, a roll o f paper towels for the kitchen, one laundry detergent and 3 dishwasher soaps. It was enough to get us going. It was nice to have 3 full bathrooms and the washer and dryer in unit. The location is close to pier park, however many activities we wanted to do were on the east side, so not a great location for our group, but if you like shopping it’s a great location.
