We stayed in Unit 301A and unfortunately, we were disappointed with the overall condition of the unit. It is very dated and clearly in need of updates.Cons:•The sliding glass door from the living room to the balcony is extremely difficult to open and close.•Cleaning instructions asked us to strip the beds before leaving, which revealed a disgusting mattress in the master bedroom. If guests are expected to handle this, the mattresses should at least be clean.•The curtain to the balcony was ripped and should have been replaced long ago.•There’s a noticeable hole behind the bedroom door.•The kitchen light fixture had visible splatters and grime—very unsanitary.•The spare bedroom bathroom is extremely small. There are no photos of it in the listing, and now I understand why. Had I seen it beforehand, I would not have booked this unit.•The checkout policy listed in the email differed from the one posted on the fridge, which created confusion.Pros:•Great beach access.•The pool is clean and enjoyable.•Convenient location with access to many nearby restaurants.This unit has potential due to its location, but it needs a lot of attention and proper maintenance before I would consider returning or recommending it to others.

Love the location

Love the location! Love the Pool Area! Love this beach!!This room needs updating. The toilet in the master bath ran all night. The door to the balcony barely slides. The walls and doors need paint! I would 100% stay here again due to the close proximity to the beach, the elevators being fast and no traffic in this area!

Beach

Staff at the building were great. Location was perfect for our baseball tournament. Condo was dated and in need of repairs. Mold in both bathrooms, handle in shower was about to fall off, mattress in main bedroom had been urinated on several times we didn't find until after we were stripping the bed. We would not have stayed there if ee knew this. The mattress needs to be removed. Older people could not open or close the sliding door onto the deck.

Enjoyed the stay and loved the view. Great location and very friendly staff. Great parking and access to property. Everyone loved the pool area and great access to beach which was only steps away from pool. Host was very accommodating to our last minute date changes that was necessary to accommodate for family graduation dates that was moved last minute.

Ideas

Unit needs some TLC. Small things like covers for couches that fit, toilet seat replacement in the master bathroom (chipped paint), light bulbs replacement. Master bathroom tub drain extremely slow leaving the tub dirty. Bathroom rugs a bit worn out. The beds were very nice and the sheets and comforter very clean and attractive. The kitchen was pleasantly bright and well stocked. The layout was nice.

Summerhouse 301

We enjoyed our stay at Summerhouse, obviously this is our 3rd time staying in this condo. 301 was not as clean as I prefer, the showers could have been cleaner and the towels could have been larger and more hotel grade. They appeared to be just rags from your home and we had to wash multiple times just to have enough to shower each day. The dryer was super slow at drying, but it’s small and I understand that. The air wasn’t working well, but they did have it checked and fixed the 2nd time we had to call. Overall it was nice for us and didn’t let those other issue effect our vacation. I just know that some families would definitely flip with the cleanliness of the shower units.

Panama City Beach 2022

This is my favorite place I have stayed so far at PCB! The room was just the right size and had everything we needed (except for a pizza pan :). Loved the two pools and the ease and closeness of getting down to the beach. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Definitely will be back!

Good for price!

overall the stay was great for the price. I feel like we got what we paid for, so I can’t complain. It should be noted that you need to bring extra toilet paper- only one roll per bathroom and you should bring your own trash bags. There is only the one trash bag in the bin. The beds are not great, but good enough for the cheap stay. The smell is moldy and wet, but you get used to it. It’s a great place if you are okay with getting what you pay for.

Nice place but not clean

Summerplace was a nice condo. The housekeeping was terrible. The shower had mold as well as the shower curtain. The toilets were not clean. The sheets and towels did not smell clean. Won't book here again.

Okay Stay

The stay in general was okay. The check-in process was terrible. The front desk personal was not friendly or helpful. I reached out to Kenny prior to arrival and he was very pleasant, and helpful, but upon arrival we were told the room was clean, but they couldn't let us check in without his approval. He called them and got everything settled. We were told we would have parking passes and wristbands in the condo, but there wasn't any. The front desk said if they were not there then there was nothing they could do. The elevator at the condo was constantly broken or didn't work. Thankfully we were only on the 3rd floor so the stairs wasn't terrible to climb. The condo itself was clean, and fairly nice. The dryer however, didn't dry the laundry without having to restart it several times. The beds aren't that comfortable either, but since you don't spend much time in them it's fine. There was plenty of extra bedding though, and a great selection of dishes to cook with. Overall - it was an enjoyable stay. The condominium itself could use some upgrades and a better staff though. I'd book through the owner again, but only if it was at a different condominium.

The bathrooms need to be upgraded, BAD!! Everything in the condo needed to be upgraded!!!!

The condo itself was just ok. Needed upgraded toilets really bad. The disposal in the kitchen was torn up, but that wasn't the problem. When the maintenance man came to fix it, he knocked on the door and just came right in! Didn't give us time to answer, and we were both in the shower!! Did not appreciate that at all!!!!! We should have been called before he ever came up!!!!!! Had to run the dryer 3 or 4 times before it dried anything.
