Disappointed

Weve been staying at Laketown Wharf for 10 years and this is the first time we have been this disappointed. The best parts of the rental were the ice maker worked, we could see the beach and there were plastic cups because i hate glass. The beds were worse than Motel mattresses. We couldn't connect to the wifi. The pullout sofa should be thrown away

Clean and beautiful room

This room was more beautiful in person and although across the street from the ocean, has an unobstructed view of the ocean right over pineapple willy's. Check in was super easy as we printed off a parking pass and had the code to the door before arriving. The resort bracelets were on the island which are needed for resort amenities including the private beach access. There is plenty to do and places to eat that you don't even have to leave the resort if you dont want to. The room was super clean and well equipped with kitchen utensils, towels, and even a couple beach chairs. We didn't even need to buy toilet paper til the last day as the supply a starter pack of a few rolls. There are reviews of the resort complaining about elevators but as long as you don't go at peak times, we didn't have that much wait time. Overall, this is one of the better condos we've stayed in and would stay again!

Best Trip Ever!

The condo was lovely. Prime location right off the elevators, with a view of the "lake" as well as the gulf. Walking distance to Pineapple Willys and a boardwalk to the beach. Perfect size for our party of 6. We spent much time on the huge balcony overlooking pools and the Gulf. 10/10 would stay again.

Great location

Great location. Condo was clean with plenty of room. No complaints at all. Received timely communication so only had to pick up wrist bands at check in. Would definitely recommend.

Daughter's senior trip

This was a great trip! The condo was clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony was perfect for the fireworks on the 4th. Easy access to the beach as well. We will surely book with the owners again.

Great pools but not enough elevators

The condo we stayed in and the pools were great. Unfortunately there are not nearly enough elevators and we spent a ridiculous amount of time waiting for elevators .

Just don’t go during Spring Break :)

….but if you do, there are lots of beautiful beaches to pick from. The views, the condo, the water, Parlor Doughnuts, pineapple willy’s! PCB is very fun, but if you have kids it’s not really ideal for Spring break time but if you do go-this is the place to stay :) We loved St. Andrews Park :) The condo owner was like just texting a friend if I needed something. And I mean come on, the gulf waters and sandy beaches :)

Good location

Location was the best thing about it. Needed some maintenance and cleaning. Found a PB&J sandwich beside the couch when we arrived and balcony door from living room would not latch. Check spring break schedules from around the area before booking.

Great place!

This was such a beautiful property! Beautiful ocean view from the balcony. It was understandably very busy because of Spring Break and the wait for elevators could be lengthy. There are 3 pools, a hot tub, and a kiddie pool at the resort and shops located in the same building. It's also located right across the street from Wal-Mart, which is convenient. Pineapple Willy's is on the other side. My 5-year-old really enjoyed the kiddie pool, which is only 6 inches deep and has a little squirt gun and rainfall mushroom feature with lounge chairs and a few umbrellas for parents.

Get ready to wait

There aren't enough elevators to accommodate the amount of people. It took us two hours to get to our condo when we arrived. My aunt found sand all in her bed so we had to wash sheets first thing. The dishwasher didn't work and the balcony door didn't lock. The AC wouldn't turn on if all doors weren't completely shut. So because the balcony door wouldn't latch we had a hard time keeping cool. After returning from dinner one night we came back to the front door being open. It freaked us out but couldn't find that anything was missing. It wasn't until later I realized someone jacked the AC up and wasn't one of us. We won't be returning to this condo.

Worst stay ever!

Filthy floors and kitchen, no working air, wifi and TV didn't work. Property owner got tired of us complaining so she had us evicted.

Great location

We greatly enjoyed our stay. We encounter a small inconvenience when we arrived and Dee was very quick to respond and have it taken care of without interrupting our plans for the day. Due to the size of the resort the wait time for an elevator is exhausting. There just aren’t enough elevators available so be prepared to wait or take the stairs. Overall a great experience at the beach!

Love location

The condo itself was great and so was the location however because of the size of the resort waiting on an elevator can be lengthy and hot. Property managers are very informative and quick to respond. It was a nice stay. Make sure you bring toilet paper, paper towels and a scrub brush for the dishes just some things we didn’t think of.

What I was expecting

What I was expecting. Staff was friendlier than I thought they would be but that could just be the off-season and it’s more relaxed. Unit was priced fairly but the add-ons like resort fees taxes etc. are just too high especially since the only thing resort like was the one hot tub that was working. Bed sheets had little hairs on them, best to assume it was from a non-clean filter in the dryer. Needed trashbags, dishwasher soap, extra toilet paper. Kitchen was well stocked though.

Great view- but bring blankets and all toiletries!

The view is amazing from this balcony! However, two of the 6 chairs are really old and dirty, so you’ll only have 4 chairs to sit in. Also, there is nothing in this condo, no shampoo, soap, toilet paper, etc. There is a Walmart across the street where you can purchase everything you need, but that makes it feel like it’s not a vacation. There is a leather sofa that is nice for 3 people to sit, but there is also a very old and dirty recliner, where we would not sit. There is an old blanket and old pillows that we removed from the sofa for sanitary reasons sofa. All in all, we had a great time, the resort was very nice, and the view is majestic!

OurStay here was awesome!

We truly enjoyed yourselves here at this condo. It had everything we could possibly need. There was plenty of space, it was decorated so nicely, and accommodated greatly for my family and I. I would recommend this condo to anyone!
