Good location but not clean!

The location is great but our room was dirty upon arrival, stuff on the floor,hair in the bathrooms. The swimming pools were filthy never seen them clean then other than pour the chlorine to it daily!

Tidewater was very beautiful and clean, the staff was very friendly, my only issue was the elevators. They were very slow and all shut down the first day we checked in and we had to walk 15 flights of stairs. That was horrible. Other than that, the pools, hot tubs, beachview..AMAZING.

Nice with minor issues

There were a few cosmetic things (light bulbs out, dishwasher dripped, sink sprayer was broke, bathroom fan was non-functioning) that made for minor inconveniences, but overall the property was nice.

Great property and location

Overall fabulous stay. Tidewater is a great property! All of the common places were very clean and maintained. There were some delays and issues with the elevators and maintenance going on during our stay, which is understandable during the off season.Specifically with our unit, I would caution that there is no storage. i.e. dresser or closet for clothing. Very minor issue as we only stayed a week and lived out of our suitcase The closet available in each bathroom was full of stuff.

Elevators

Elevator situation was awful. Waiting 30 min at times to get to the beach or to your car. Our room was okay but needs some cleaning. Bed skirt is torn, dust on lamp shade a mile high. Needs some none stick pans. Was waiting for elevator for about 25 min and when it opened two security were on it and I asked them to hold it open for a second and they shut the doors on me. Having the chairs come with the room for the beach was nice.

Needs an update

The way the condo is layed out is great. The view is wonderful and it’s close to just about anything you would want to go to. The whole place needs a deep cleaning and the living room furniture needs to go, it’s dirty and smells terrible. I would stay there again if the place were cleaned deeply and the living room furniture replaced.

Not clean

We stayed at this condo and got there when someone was checking and approving of the cleanliness. We were there not even an hour and my children’s feet were black from how dirty the floor was. It is a darker tile so it looks clean but definitely wasn’t. We had to wear shoes the entire time so we didn’t get dirty feet. The furniture is so worn and uncomfortable. The toilets ran the entire time , there was mold on the shower curtain and the bath tub wouldn’t hold water which was hard with having two little kids who taking a bath instead of shower would have been easier. The elevators take forever and sometimes you don’t get one and have to walk in our case 15 flights of stairs.. I do not recommend this unit but the condo itself was okay.

August vacation stay

This was our first stay with Tidewater. We were a little skeptical of the reviews for the elevator, as many said it takes 30 minutes + for them. However, we didn’t have a problem with them at all during our time here. Had loads of fun😊

Great location, Ok for price

It was ok for the price. Sand in sheets, food wrappers in bunk beds, a puddle in one of the king bedrooms. Blood marks on one corner of the king bed skirts, as well as the shower curtain of same room. Rug in living room is not there, and furniture on balcony is different. Property could be better maintained and cleaned. Elevators were terrible and very accurate based on everyone else’s reviews. Some of them weren’t working and those that were took at least 30 mins sometimes.

Overall pleasant stay. Elevators, not so much.

Overall a good stay. The condo was exactly as described, however we will choose a different resort next time. The condo, great. Elevators not so much. You just have to learn to jump on, ride it for a bit even if it’s going the opposite direction you are going or you will wait ridiculous amount of time. Try to leave earlier than 9-10 in the morning to get out of the condo and try to leave for dinner before check in time. 1 hour wait times even around 2-3pm in the day just for a quick run back to the condo from the beach just isn’t feasible for a family of 5. The toilet that was in the second guest bedroom ran water constantly, as we checked in there was a maintenance man stop by to check it out but he didn’t see an issue, the toliet did run constantly though after being flushed so we turned it off. Not sure if they ever got it resolved, we opted out of using that bathroom during our stay. The remote to the master bedroom tv was also missing upon arrival, we contacted the host to let them know if issue and they actually sent someone out to replace it same day. The only issue I had with this is someone was knocking on our condo to bring while we were getting back from the beach so we actually were not able to come to the door at the time being.. the man walked in on us! He said he thought nobody was there so he wanted to bring it (which is nice) but I’d rather random people not come in on my family. Overall, I was happy and loved the condo but tidewater elevators need fixed.

The overall stay was nice we love Panama beaches. You could tell our room was a little out of date, the chairs in the living room were very broken in and ripped in a few places. Water pressure in one of the bathrooms was bad, one of the toilets kept breaking so we had to fix it over and over to flush, our balcony light was out, could use a paint job to hide all the stains on walls and trim. Nothing major just a few things we noticed throughout our stay. VERY friendly staff amongst all! Everybody greeted us kindly and were all very polite, 10/10 for them!! The elevators on the other hand.. oh boy. Be prepared for long wait times almost every time you have to go up or down. On busy hours they did have staff inside the elevator taking people to each floor bypassing other floors if you were full so they could move more efficiently. Overall we had a great stay but will probably stay someplace a little smaller next time.

Beautiful Condo Right On The Beach

The condo was very nice, a beautiful location. Loved that it had three bathrooms. It included two beach chairs and umbrella, which is what won us over. They came in handy since we flew down and wasn't able to bring a canopy or chairs. 15-20 minute walk to Pier Park which was super nice and convenient. Elevator wait time was worse on the weekend days, but not too bad.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay

The condo was ok. The floor needs a really good cleaning. There were 2 electrical sockets that were not working. We had an issue with the tv that was fixed within 24 hrs. The view from the balcony was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay at this condo and Tidewater.

Great property with a few caveats

Pros: Lots of amenities Gorgeous view Clean property Well stocked kitchen (plates, bowls, cups, silverware, toaster, coffee maker, blender) Fitness center is good sized with a nice water view. The two outdoor pools looked nice with reasonable prices at the tiki bar at one of them. Great location. Cons: Beds were all very uncomfortable Bedrooms were on the hallway/road wall. Bring earplugs. Pans were pretty rusty. Indoor pool was closed for maintenance most of our stay,you would think they would do maintenance on the off season instead of during spring break. There are grills which we originally planned on using but…after our experience with the elevators on the property we decided that our food would be cold before we could get back to our room. Check in was kind of a mess, I wish I had known prior to booking that car top carriers do not fit in the parking garage. It is in the email after you book but I didn’t pay attention to that until we were on our way so that was my bad. Then you have to unload in the parking garage, check out a cart (leaving your ID) and somehow get an elevator to your room. The elevators… not an exaggeration were the worst part of our stay. We dreaded using them. We went up and down the 15 flights a few times to avoid them. There were times you waited 20+ minutes. Look into spring break in this area as well before booking to decide if it is something you want to deal with.

perfect little condo!

Cozy little condo with some of the best views of Panama City Beach. It was just perfect for me and the 3 other adults that stayed there. although it could very well accommodate at least 2 couples and some kids! But the bottom bunk worked well for an adult (fyi). Beautiful sunrise and sunset views! so beautiful in fact, i was proposed too on the beach during one sunset! :) There are a couple things i could mention (i wouldnt called them cons- just giving a heads up) but if you plan on cooking big meals i would bring your own pots and pans, there are some provided but there werent enough pans so i had to go out and get some. and bring extra toilet paper! but all in all, we definitely enjoyed our stay and 10/10 i would reccomend to someone!

Summer 23 vacation

Had a great time! Room was hot when we arrived but cooled quickly after instructions to turn off / on. First time we have stayed that far down Front Beach Rd. Usually stay around Thomas Dr. Only issue was fall at restaurant on Sunday night and hurt left side - hand arm/elbow, knee & toe! Had to rest One day for that and afraid to get in water with open cut!.

Great stay- few issues

Tidewater was overall great, the only issue would be the elevators are very slow during busy hours. The condo was great for the 4 of us and could of even had other people stay with the bunk beds and third bathroom. However, the dishwasher didn’t work so I had to hand wash all week. The cleaning was a little lacking but we tidied up.

Dirty and old

The only good thing about this property was the view of the water, if you didn’t look down at the dirty patio you had to stand on. Let’s start from the beginning… The property parking garage gate was not working properly the entire visit. They ran out of wristbands and we were given cheap itchy festival-like bands at check-in. As others have recently mentioned in reviews, the elevators are horrible and truly enough of a reason to not go back. The condo was filthy. Along with being unclean, it was old and musty. Furniture and area rug was in a constant moist state. Every surface was dirty. Dishes were in dirty drawers and not even clean. One of the bedrooms blanket had a large makeup stain on it and I was hoping it was just a stain. I stripped the beds to wash all bedding and ironically the makeup came right out after one wash. Which tells me they put unclean blankets on the bed. The couch was so old and gross that we didn’t even attempt to use the pull out bed. Additionally, the condo was poorly stocked and clearly made zero effort to make an exceptional, or even comfortable, stay for guests. For the $3,000 I spent, I would expect to have a normal size frying pan available for a condo that sleeps 8. There wasn’t even a shower curtain, only a $2 shower liner hanging. Overall, I highly recommend you trust the newer reviews on this property and don’t book. There are far better properties that take more interest in creating a comfortable environment for the guests.

theres a list 1-elevators terrible 2-room dirty rugs,floor dirty,dishwasher black mold ac vent horrible,when entering room strong smell of marijauna, i call twice reported frig was not working no responce,frig was leaking everyday i spent almost 100 dol on cleaning supplies we spent time waiting on elevators a half day total then they dug up drive way into parking deck another costly delay this is the worst condo i ever stayed in .I need owners name and email please .you need to contact all guest that stayed this week

Dirty unit! Emerald Coast is Horrible!

We stayed at Tidewater,1513,for our sons World Series for a week. Other families picked the location so we joined. Check in was easy and staff was friendly. The elevators were a pain,10-25 min wait each time but w/ a large condo. I’m sure that’s normal.The pools were ok.Our unit was FILTHY! We are a family that takes off shoes at the door and 30mins later everyone’s feet were black! Dirt and stuck on goo still all over the floors. I swept and had a pile of sand/dirt within the first hour and that was before we brought our things in. The mop was black. I contacted Emerald Coast within 1-2 hours of check in w/ my complaints. Someone showed up hours later when we were gone getting groceries and apparently walked all around our unit w/o us there but all of our belongings inside,which I don’t appreciate. Someone texted me letting me know and 1 they had all issues incorrect from what I told them and 2 I responded with pictures and the correct issues and then got no response back the rest of our stay. No one ever brought us decent cooking pots even though they said they would the next day. The rug in the middle of the living room was supposed to be a blue color. It was black! We rolled it up it was so disgusting.The couch, 2 sitting chairs & barstools were all stained, covered in sand and worn out. I will never stay anywhere Emerald Coast manages and will make sure my family/friends/baseball teams know this as well. Almost 4k for a dirty unit, disgusting furniture, and unusable pots
