We call our adorable and cozy 1BR townhome 'Beachside Joy” -- it is a beautiful gulf front unit that sits directly on the sugar-white sands of Panama City Beach (one of the most beautiful beaches in the world)! Beachside Joy is a NON-SMOKING unit.
When you stay here you are on the beach -- just walk down the deck stairs! This is not a high rise condo or hotel; there are no elevators to wait for and you don't have to share the beach with a thousand other condo residents. It's so wonderful to be able to walk right out the door and onto the beach or into the water!
Beachside Joy has a spacious living room, very tastefully decorated, with a 43" HDTV and a gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico. We have subscribed to over 160 channels (Xfinity) including most sports networks and some premium movie channels. The very comfortable couch is also a pull-out queen size sleeper sofa with a new and comfy memory foam mattress! There's a full bathroom on the same level (with a shower).
For convenience, the Beachside Joy has a beautiful, newly remodeled and fully-stocked cozy kitchen (including custom soft-close cabinets, quartz counter top, mosaic glass back splash, and high-end stainless appliances) so you can whip up a romantic dinner to enjoy on the deck while the sun sets over the Gulf of Mexico. It is a challenge keeping good cookware in a vacation rental so we replace all the pots and pans every three to six months. If you book with us and need something that isn't there then give us a call or text (we'll bring it to you ASAP). If you like to barbecue, you’ll find a high-end Weber gas grill ready for use on the gulf front deck -- perfect for adding a grilled steak or seafood to the meal!
The master suite, right up the spiral staircase, is bright and cheery with picture windows offering beautiful and serene views of the beach and gulf (including the spectacular sunsets)! The bed itself is king size with a high quality mattress (so you can sleep soundly after a day of fun). And you'll absolutely love the beautiful master bath, with a large dual sink granite vanity and a jetted jacuzzi tub. The TV in the master suite is also high definition with lots of available channels.
As for location, Beachside Joy is located approximately 3/4 of a mile west of the fabulous Pier Park shopping resort! You can see the pier itself from the gulf front deck.
There are some great dining spots within walking distance of our townhome. Right across the street you’ll find a Wings/Barbecue place and of course a couple of great seafood places (check out the “Sand Bar” about a block away).
There is a Winn Dixie grocery store and a CVS pharmacy across the street as well. Just to our east (in Pier Park) you’ll find a world of entertainment, dining, and shopping. The pier itself offers great views and fine fishing!
We are constantly updating Beachside Joy. We have updated/refinished the bathrooms, replaced all the windows with crystal-clear hurricane glass, completely replaced the floors with gorgeous LVP flooring, installed new ultra-quiet and very efficient mini-splits, and updated most of the furniture.
We contracted with a new cleaning service in September 2024. They are a friendly and thorough service (so you’ll find our home well cleaned and ready for your vacation). If you have any cleaning issues when you check in we will immediately send someone to take care of the problems.

Important note! Beachside Joy is a beautiful and comfortable beachfront vacation home, but it is is a small unit which requires a spiral staircase (there isn't room for a traditional staircase because the high ceilings, though airy and spacious, don't allow for enough length). The staircase is 100% in compliance with all building codes and the vast majority of our guests have no issues with them whatsoever. However, if you are elderly or have mobility issues to deal with, please consider the staircase before you decide to book with us. We want everyone who stays at Beachside Joy to have a wonderful time!
