One of 3 apartments in a glorious historical ancestral home of one of Panama's most famous families, Los Diamantes "Herrera" is a large apartment with 4 bedrooms with 4 ensuite bathrooms, and with a 25 meter balcony overlooking plaza Herrera. Opposite the famous American trade hotel, in the centre of Casco Viejo, the jewel of Panama City.

Unbeatable location
We stayed at this beautiful property for only two nights and we all agreed it should have been longer. The patio space between roof top patio and wrap around decks to people watch were a highlight for our kids. The host even left us wine and beer. It was very walkable and Uber friendly. I don’t recommend a car as the roads are very narrow with hardly any parking. Restaurants and shops all near by. The park in front of building was a great green space for kids to run around. Coffee shop with food is right across street and breakfast on the patio in park was a highlight for my kids.
This is not a good rental for anyone with physical limitations. To enter unit you walk up four flights of stairs. It was no problem for our group but I am glad we didn’t have grandparents. We also had a very hard time with condo entry lock so make sure you practice yourself after Julio shows you.
Julio was very responsive usually within moments and we all had an amazing time. I really hope to come back sometime.

No communication
We never stayed at the property because the host never communicated check-in instructions with us. We tried to contact them several times by phone and email and so did the repeat VRBO. No one could reach them for the whole day of check-in. Therefore we were forced to find other accommodations outside of VRBO.
