「The only thing lacking was the fact there was only one washcloth and one large bath towel. We were two people in the room there were 3 smaller towels. Othwrwise all was well Mai tai ed and comfortable out b gold rush charm」

「My daughter and I have stayed here quite a few times. The proprietress is always so friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room clean. I also like the added bonus of a refrigerator and microwave in the room. 」

「Pretty easy access off Hwy 50, between two exits. Close to Safeway, gas stations and other small stores. Clean rooms. Free mini breakfast starts at 7am and typically includes scrambled eggs and sausage plus pancake machine. However, no elevator to 2nd floor. 」

「This is our favorite place to stay in Amador County. The hotel is a gas, very old timey and well maintained. We made dinner reservations and the food and service and atmosphere were impeccable! Don't miss the cute underground bar below, you'll feel like you're in a speakeasy. Great cocktails. We love the location right on Main Street, plenty to do. 」

「I wish I could give 10 stars to Chef Erik and the staff at the Union Inn. We had a great weekend stay and highly recommend the hotel and restaurant. The room was very nice and the dinners and breakfasts were outstanding.」

「A wonderful cottage close to element 79 with a great set up that was comfortable for us and our 8 week newborn to share. Plenty of space heaters to keep us warm too :)」

「The house may be small, but it's perfect for a couple's getaway. The place was clean, cozy, and best of all, quiet. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals, and the wood stove just adds to the rustic vibe. Definitely would stay again!」

「We so enjoyed our stay! The house did not disappoint! Not only was it immaculate, it was decorated for Christmas. There were treats in the kitchen, a full hot cocoa bar and all the makings for a delicious cup of cider, tea or coffee. Although there is definitely a spooky ambiance, we did not experience anything out of the ordinary. 10 out 10; would stay again. Thank you Elsie, you were an amazing host!」

「For anyone who knows the history surrounding this part of the country, gold was discovered arounf 1849 and it changed thousands of peoples lives. So to actually live in a real miners house, well you couldn't have asked for a better place. Thank you Gorden for keeping history alive. By the way the bathroom is unbelievable, hats off to you!」
