For me it was perfect preparation to running the Knysna Forest Marathon. The room has everything one requires and more: WiFi, hairdryer, fridge, kettle, heater, shower and small touches such as OBS and snacks on arrival as well as a torch in case of a power failure or emergency. 「The Gull Cottage where we stayed was absolutely excellent! Ruth who owns and runs the cottage was super, welcoming us to the cottage and explaining the facilities. The cottage is very well equipped, super clean, very comfortable, and in a great location just moments from the beach. We hope to return as soon as possible!」

「The dog, Reacher, is super friendly. Water is only rain water so must be used sparingly. The little space is great for a short stay but would be cramped for extended periods. Beautiful garden with little pond right on your doorstep, but careful of wasps. 」

「Great stay! The hotel seemed quite new. We had an issue where the air conditioning did not work but the staff were quick to bring a fan to our room. We didn't try the breakfast as the hotel was well located to access coffee shops and restaurants. Would recommend for a short trip for a location with great value for money. 」
