Great getaway
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, good sleep, good breakfast and spectacular views from your sunbed. But.. had absolute bad food experience from the pool bar: very expensive, unprofessional for 4 star hotel, smelly chicken burger with old warmed up chips. We stayed away from there rest of our holiday

Hotel was nice enough, there was construction going on my sister who was getting married wasn’t informed of. 70% of staff were unhelpful and not friendly. Location was good, lots of steps that were a problem at times, good entertainment for children.

Great option for families and friends. Pretty relaxed. Pool was really nice and not too busy. Beach was close to the hotel and well kept. Staff were extremely helpful.

Perfect
The location of this hotel is perfect. 10 minute walk to the main Protarus strip with plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops. However far enough away to be quieter with a lovely beach.

Fantastic beach location with plenty of room for sand, grass or pool lounging. Excellent food - really good variety at breakfast. Room service was great.

Stayed for three nights before an upcoming wedding in June. Arrived he day the hotel reopened and was delighted by the hotel. Room was large, clean, and extremely clean. Staff were delightful, grounds around the hotel were immaculate. Great choice.

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend! Früstücksbuffet war OK. Abendessen halt sehr auf die Russischen Gäste ausgerichtet. Etwas lieblos angerichtet und allgemein wirkte der Esssaal nicht sehr gemütlich. Zu viel und zu grelles Licht,hatte ewas von Kantinen Romantik…Die Poolanlage,der Strand und der Hotelgarten waren TOP! Immer genug Liegen vorhanden obwohl die Strandtuchleger auch dort anzutreffen sind…In der näheren Umgebung hat es leider nur ein Restaurant und ein Laden.Rest etwa 15-20 Gehminuten entfernt.2 Restaurants hatte es noch an der Strandpromenade.

Hotel w pokojach od strony morza zapewnia ładny widok ale prowadzone na sasiadujacej działce prace budowlane były dość uciażliwe. Dodatkowo plaża hotelowa przylega do małego portu z którego nad ranem wypływały łodzie rybackie niestety ich silniki pracowały bardzo głośno. W okresie w którym przebywaliśmy w hotelu obłożenie wynosiło około 30%. Stad nie było problemu z leżakami. W przypadku pełnego obłożenia na pewno nie byłoby tak komfortowo. Jedzenie przeciętne. Ale ogólne wrażenie dobre - widoki, ciepłe morze i możliwość spacerowania nadbrzeżna promenada ciagnaca się przez wiele kilometrów wzdłuż plaż, hoteli I nadmorskich willi. Wzdłuż promenady łatwo dostępne bary sklepy i restauracje.

The hotel was fine, breakfast was not great though. Very basic. What I found unacceptable is that no one was asking guests to wear masks inside. Almost no one was wearing them even though there were signs up. The staff behind the desk weren’t often wearing them either. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Great location, right on the beach and lovely pool! Food was ok, but got a bit tedious after a week. Bit hit and miss with the staff, some were fantastic, friendly and couldn’t do enough. Others were rude, didn’t look like they wanted to be there. Good for families. Rooms good size with bunk beds for a family with a screen partition but need a revamp!

This is a great property for vacation with smaller kids. However noise pollution damages otherwise great experience. The Good: - Food (all inclusive) was great. - Staff and especially kids entertainment programs were great and very helpful. Our kids really enjoyed kids entertainment. - The beach is calm and clean in the mornings - Hotel pool and slide is great for kids - Sea water was warm (in August) - Good yoga The Bad: - We had ocean view rooms and had trouble sleeping due to loud music late at night. Especially from weddings in the restaurants right below our windows. If you get ocean view room, don’t expect to sleep until at least 12 at night. - Right next to the hotel’s beach there is a super loud bar blasting crappy music all the time. - People “reserving” beach chairs with towels and leaving them overnight

Not worth the money we've paid for what we've got!
We have arrived at 6:30 in the afternoon, and though we booked 3ple room we had to wait for the extra bed to be placed in the room. We paid the supplement for HB basis, but dinner was awful, not worth the money we've paid. Breakfast was excellent, with great variety and much more than expected.

Fint hotell med "egen" strand.
Fint läge och vi bodde i rummen som ligger i byggnad för sig själv vilket var bra då det är en massa aktiviteter nedanför på framsidan. Hade all inclusive vilket var bra då det är ngt längre till restauranger än hotellen närmare Fig Tree bay. Vi var där sista helgen på säsongen 26/10 så det var endast en buffé. Stannade tre dagar vilket räckte innan man blir nöjd på ( en bra ) men lite tjatig buffémat där det är kö och en masa folk som tar till sig allt för mycket mer än vad de kan äta. Öl ok men vinet inget vidare. Bra rum, trevlig personal, varmt i havet men väldigt kalla pooler. Solstolar på hotellets "egen" strand kostar pengar. Fin arrangerad strandpromenad hela vägen ( 3km ) till Fig Tree Bay.

Liked public areas and staff pleasant and helpful. Did not like the eating amenities, not to 4 star status i.e. all restaurants were self-service apart from the Italian food orientated area, all drinks were machine access. Clearly catering only for all inclusive tariffs. This hotel is in a lovely setting but not as we remember it as 4 star from a few years ago.

Das Hotel ist wirklich ein Traum! Das Personal ist super freundlich & immer hilfsbereit. Auch vom Essen kann man nur schwärmen! Wir haben unsere Flitterwochen dort verbracht und es wurde uns nie langweilig. Es werden extrem viele Aktivitäten angeboten und mit dem Bus ist man für einen Euro auch schnell in Protaras / Aja Napa wenn man ein bisschen etwas erleben möchte. Für die Kinder gibt es auch viele Angebote und es ist alles auch kinderfreundlich angepasst. Das Essen ist spitze und wir hatten absolut nichts daran zu bemängeln. Was man einfach wissen muss; es ist im August extrem heiss in Zypern und es hat praktisch keine Möglichkeiten sich mal in den Schatten zu setzen. (Gefühlt jeweils bis zu 36 Grad) Das Meer ist jedoch auch wunderschön, sauber & sehr angenehm und auch die Hotelzimmer sind sehr angenehm gestaltet! Zusammengefasst kann ich Zypern und das Golden Coast Beach Hotel wirklich nur weiterempfehlen!
