"This is a brilliant, cosy property to stay if you're visiting Chamonix. Set just outside of Chamonix, this chalet is located on the main train line & bus route into the town (or a short 3km walk along the river). The hosts Christine & Pierre made us feel very welcome, providing us with recommendations for walking routes and places to visit. The chalet met the needs of our family (including an 14 & 18yr old). There's a lovely cafe next to the train station and restaurant within a 1 min walk. (*Note there is no washing machine in the chalet, but there is a laundrette in Chamonix). Would really recommend staying here, the garden view is literally of the mountain & glacier."

"If you’re a solo traveller, staying a few nights, and you don’t mind the fact that there is no small fridge or kettle in the room, then it’s a good spot. Room 5 has a beautiful view of Mont Blanc (2 single beds) It was also one of the few places that offered partial refund at time of booking so that’s why I took it. I was travelling alone from Geneva. I took the Swisstours bus (1 hour and 15 min) and from the bus drop off, I took the number 1 bus (right next to the terminal). The bus ride to the hotel is less than 5 min. Small hotel that feels more like you are in a room in someone’s home, yet you have your own private bathroom. Polite, helpful staff. Clean room. Small but for myself it was fine. You can walk directly into town in 15 min, which is what I did both days, even with my suitcase for my return. (Or take the bus or train). Very safe as well. They offer breakfast downstairs for 10 Euros (I didn’t have it because I was out and about early both days.) In town, there is a grocery store, SPAR and some great bakeries that sell coffee and pastries and sandwiches or pizza at reasonable prices."

"What an amazing host and property. The host, Amanda, was super communicative and helpful. The property was very well stocked and came with a lot of nice amenities and space for everyone to spread out. Having separate bathrooms and robes was so nice as was the outdoor space, hot tub, sauna and ping pong table. The house’s location was perfect and probably better than being in Chamonix. It was not crowded and yet a super quick drive to town. All you need in terms of shopping and restaurants was also in Les Houches. There is great horseback riding minutes from the house too. I highly recommend! We were two adults and two kids (14 and 12). Enjoy!"
