It’s been developed even more now, but tastefully, holding its true identity in style and decor, with the more modern twists where needed. 「Bed so comfortable didn’t want to get out of it. Staff amazing food great. Would definitely stay again. Although I put isolated you did need transport although there was a bus stop outside.」

「Great little studio flat. Perfect for 2 people. Kitchen well equipped, great hair dryer, lovely towels, comfy bed, great all round apartment. Didn’t bother me but 2 flights of stairs into the rafters of the house for anyone with mobility issues. Very comfortable, wound stay again. 」

「Unfortunately when we entered our room, water was dripping through the ceiling, a pipe had broken, we immediately reported it to the staff who quickly and efficiently moved us to an alternative room which was perfect. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was of the highest quality, can highly recommend the lamb shank. The menu is varied and delicious. We had the breakfast, again of the highest quality and well worth the money. We have stayed here before and will be staying here again,...

「Booked it same day, the room was on the 4th floor and as it was during the heatwave, was a bit warm, they did provide us with couple of fans that helped. It was a lovely room with a sofa, TV and vanity table. A nice view of trees and sunset. It was clean everywhere. 」

「Rooms clean fresh and airy, currently undergoing room refresh so will be even better! Staff very polite and enthusiastic could not be faulted. Unfortunately we could not sample the food but it is highly recommended. 」

「The location is impeccable but being in the city centre it can be quite noisy at night because of all the bars & clubs downstairs. The triple room is on the 4th floor so noise wise it's tolerable for just one night but be prepared to lift your luggages up the 100-step stairs. The room is better than expected, really clean & tidy. One down side is this hotel doesn't have its own reception so have to check in at the hotel across the road instead.」
