The area around Gare De Lyon felt much safer than Gare d Est and Nord. We had room for our luggage and to move, unlike some other hotels in Paris where we have stayed. Very nice and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed. We slept great. Location was great as we arrived by train.

This is a great hotel 7 or 8 minutes flat walk from Gare de Lyon. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially with my high school French from decades ago. Clean and comfortable room.

Lovely helpful staff. Basic facilities but clean and chosen for ease of access to Gare du Lyon station so it was perfect for this! Slept well surprisingly despite the noise and rattle from expected trains going by but would stay again if needed

A very positive experience. The double room was a good size for an old hotel in central Paris, and the bed was very comfortable. A welcome kettle and teabags in the room. Good sound insulation and double glazing, so although v central it felt quiet and peaceful. Very close and convenient for gare de Lyon. Helpful friendly reception staff and they were happy to keep luggage for a few hours after checkout. The only small concern was that it was a little difficult to regulate the shower temperature - the hot tap was very hot, with a potential danger of scalding. But overall a good hotel and I'd be happy to return and recommend.

Short walking distance to the Gare de Lyon. While researching hotels there were some mixed reviews. I guess they were doing some renovations last year because my experience was nothing but positive. Typically small French hotel room, but it was clean, small (very) desk area, plenty of electrical outlets close to the bed, clean modern bathroom with excellent shower. There was a little street noise with the window open, but that basically stopped by 11p to midnight. Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. I took the breakfast which was very good (a lot of variety), but not sure it was the best value; I just wanted something easy to start my day and it met that need. Restaurants and brasseries in the area which felt very safe.

I would descent hotel as okay. It was located within steps of the Gare de Lyon, which I needed because I had to catch an early morning train the next morning. I felt safe walking I. The neighborhood and there were plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby to choose from. But the hotel itself was dingy. It definitely needs to be spruced up. Even just a fresh coat of paint would help a lot. The mattress was fine. I slept well, but the bathroom was grungy, clean enough, but the fixtures were old and unattractive. Bottom line, I wouldn’t stay there again, even if I needed something near the train station. I’d definitely look for someplace more cheerful and upscale.

The room was very clean and very small. It had a double bed. There was a hot pot in the room so we could make tea. The shower had a very slow drain which the staff said was because too much water flowed from the shower. The staff was very nice!!! It is a great location next to the Paris Gare de Lyon, a 7 minute walk. There is a nice Boulanger right out the front door. Okay spot for small people for one night when traveling. There was a pretty little herb garden in our window box. 🌱
