Wonderful old school hotel on a quiet corner in the lower end of the Marais, easy walk to endless restaurants, shops and sights, close to the metro. Really friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable, super pleasant stay. Hope to be back again someday!

Really lovely stay. Well-curated Parisian hotel. The location within this part of the Marais is just perfect. We would return everyday to our room with wine and cheese from the amazing cheese shop across the street. The neighborhood bistros and local shops were some of the best we visited during our 2 week trip traveling around France. Loved ending our vacation in this spot.

The location was excellent; close to a few metro stations and a short travel from most popular sites. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and well maintained. The only thing that lets it down is the lack of room service and limited breakfast options. There are lots of restaurants nearby though so it’s not the end of the world. I would return again recommend the hotel without hesitation!

Absolutely wonderful boutique hotel right in the heart of the Marais. The room was big and the air conditioning was amazing and super quiet which was crucial for us. Pierre at the front desk was so warm and welcoming and helpful with all questions we had and recommending a fantastic Italian restaurant next door called L’Enoteca which we loved! The only comment I would make for improvement was the breakfast was the same thing every day and a bit boring so I wish they would have changed it up a bit. But other than that, an amazing stay!

This hotel is in a great location not too far from Notre Dame on the right bank of the Seine. There are good restaurants around the area and the hotel has a decent breakfast. The bed is very firm and the room is small, typical for Paris. My room had a bathtub.

Well appointed rooms with high quality beds and spacious bathrooms. Friendly and very supportive staff ensured our stay was comfortable and memorable. They were happy to make dinner reservations for us at two restaurants I wanted to try in particular. Lovely breakfast each morning. Room’s AC was very comfortable when the temperature was very hot outside. This is my third stay at the Charles V and it is our favorite place to stay in Paris. Neighborhood is perfect for walking, shopping, and eating.
