Marvellous, compact hotel with cosy, well-maintained bedrooms. The location is close to many restaurants, as well as Cardinale Lemoine and Jussieu Metro stations so it was easy to get to the Louvre and the Musee D'Orsay, which were our main holiday objectives. The staff were wonderfully helpful, and spoke very good English, making this a perfect, low-cost stay for us in this extraordinary, beautiful city.

The location of this hotel could NOT be better! Exactly where we wanted to be, with multiple good restuarants nearby and even a large grocery store just down the street. The room we had was tiny; about the same size as our room on a Viking River ship. It was comfortable, and had a lovely small balcony with a table and two chairs. The bathroom had a nice shower. The staff was very helpful and spoke good english, which was important, because we have no french. The price was really great for the area.

I’ve stayed at the Familia many times because of its location. I noticed this time it looked quite tired. The staff, however, are always great, very helpful and friendly. The rooms are small but have everything I need, including a small balcony with a table and chairs. It’s quirky and not luxurious, but I still enjoy staying here.

Great hotel. Very helpful and friendly receptionist. The location is perfect right in the action but quiet. The rooms are small but perfectly formed! Be mindful the car park is nearby and is €30 starting at midday. Parking is expensive in Paris so it is worth doing.
