We checked in and the air conditioning was broken in all three rooms we reserved. My son laid down on the bed and within ten minutes a bed bug crawled on him. Luckily we hadn’t unpacked anything, so we quickly left our rooms and went to the front desk. I was very discreet and showed him the video, he claimed he can only refund me for one room. I’m obviously uncomfortable and not allowing my family to sleep in any of the rooms at this point. He said he would have the manager call me the next day, that never happened. We called back the third day and the manager assured us they’d refund us. A week has passed and no refund, we called IHG direct and they informed us that hotel front desks cannot issue refunds. They opened up a case for us and assured we would hear back within 48 hours. Do not trust the Holiday Inn Paris. Also, there’s a sex shop right next door, so if you’re taking your family there, be aware. That should’ve been our first clue!
