Super nice staff, excellent location if you are traveling from Gare del Est (1 block away) , clean rooms and bathrooms. Only con on my side was the small tub, but we managed to take a shower there). Also good variety of breakfast. Overall we will definitely stay there again.

Room was all we needed on the small side so be aware if your looking for a bigger space but we weren't fussed as it was one night. So easy to get to from the Gare Du Nord station after getting off the Eurostar. Only thing to consider is it's very very noisy outside. I don't know if it's because we aren't used to that! That's not the hotel that's cars etc but I would recommend ear plugs if your not used to noise at night!

The room was very clean and tidied up every morning (I stayed there for two nights) but it was not too warm. However, when I asked the receptionist, he turned up the temperature on their controller and it was much better after. One more drawback was the lack of soap in the shower dispenser but fortunately I had my own gel so that was not a problem for me. The hotel is situated near the main road and it was quite noisy, even at night (police sirens), but if your room faces the back, you should not have that problem. The location provides an easy access to Gare du Nord/East stations and local cafes and brasseries. The receptionist were very helpful and polite. Overall, I had a good stay there.

Für mich war vor allem die Lage und der Preis ausschlaggebend - sehr günstig. Das Personal war immer mega freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war sauber und für mich groß genug. Wenn es nochmal so preiswert zu haben sein sollte werde ich gerne wiederkommen. Essen/Frühstück hatte ich nicht gebucht, daher kann ich es nicht bewerten.

The staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. The hotel felt very safe. The rooms could have been bigger with more bathroom space. The rooms had the basics but not any more. i.e. Tea/coffee and safe. Some had a wardrobe others open hanging space. The later rooms seemed larger Hotel breakfast simple and basic but more than adequate. Again the dining area was very cramped. The area around the hotel felt safe and had an excellent choice of dining/drinking options. Room prices I believe were very competitive for Paris. Would I stay again. Yes.

Kleines Hotel im charmanten Pariser Stil, nur ein Paar Schritte vom Gare de l´Est entfernt, empfängt seine Gäste mit Freundlichkeit. Der Frühstücksraum ist angenehm ausgestattet. Ich komme gerne immer wieder, um von hier aus Paris kennen zu lernen und zu erobern.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr nah am Gare d`ESt. - was sehr praktisch war, da wir erst spät Abends ankamen. Auch bei der Rückfahrt hat sich dies als sehr praktisch erwiesen. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich uns hilfsbereit. Frühstück war auch okay. Auswahl war zwar immer die gleiche , aber es hat geschmeckt. Kaffee war sehr gut. O-Saft auch.

*Room for scams* My stay at Hotel Alane was extremely disappointing. The owner's behavior seemed discriminatory, and I felt targeted. When I reported the AC issue in my room, which had been a recurring problem according to previous reviews, the management's response was unprofessional. They accused me of causing disturbances based on recordings of other guests, which was not only unfair but also invasive. It felt like they were looking for ways to justify keeping my money and avoid providing a refund. The reviews on this platform don't seem to reflect my experience, and I suspect they might be curated. I would caution others to be aware of the potential issues with this hotel.
