It is true that our hotel is situated in an old, traditional Parisian building where everything is relatively small and where it is unfortunately not possible for us to install an elevator! This is mentioned on all our websites but sadly is often overlooked. We thank you therefore for making this important point more visible to other guests. Nous vous remercions pour votre commentaire et votre franchise et nous ne souhaitions vraiment pas vous mettre dans un climat de suspicion chez nous. Il est vrai que les hôtels en général partout dans le monde ont l’habitude de prendre la carte de crédit au check-in, même si le séjour est payé à l’avance, simplement en garantie, en cas de dégradation, d’extras, etc. Ceci n’est en rien personnel et nous ne supposons pas du tout que vous allez casser quelque chose volontairement, mais c’est le « système » qui nous oblige ce genre de procédures. Il s’agit simplement d’une prévention administrative. Car nous avions eu effectivement des mauvaises surprises et des cas où l’enregistrement de la carte nous a été utile et nécessaire par la suite. Aussi, tous ces documents d’enregistrement sont détruits 3 mois après le passage des clients dans nos hôtels. Nous vous remercions pour votre confiance et serions heureux de vous accueillir de nouveau dans nos hôtels, pour vous prouver notre confiance envers vous.

However, we are sorry to learn that you were not satisfied with the rest of your stay. It is true that our hotel has 4 floors and no elevator. Although this is mentioned on all our websites, it is often overlooked. We therefore thank you for bringing this important point to the attention of other guests. In the email we sent prior to your arrival, we also specify that the hotel does not have an elevator and we ask you to let us know if you have problems climbing stairs so that we can find you a room on the 1st floor. Once you are in the hotel, this may no longer be possible if all the rooms are fully booked, which unfortunately was the case for you. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. Thank you for your message.We are profoundly sorry that you did not enjoy your stay in our hotel! Our hotel has 4 floors and no elevator, correct. On all our websites you will find the indication that our hotel does not have an elevator, and also in the email we sent before your arrival we point out that the hotel does not have an elevator and that you should let us know if you have problems climbing the stairs so that we can give you a room on the second floor. Our hotel is a normal 2-star hotel with normal small rooms common for Paris, but you can find every comfort like TV, fridge, safe and hairdryer. And yes, as a creative art hotel, you will find painted walls everywhere and also the graffiti door for the lingerie (which means towels and bed linen storage in French), and it's just kind of a fun decoration. If you look at the photos on our website, you can see this kind of style and decoration, it is certainly a matter of taste whether you like it or not. We are really sorry that you had problems with the luggage and its storage in your room. Some guests prefer to leave large pieces of luggage in the lobby if they only have a short stay and don't need everything. The staff at reception are used to asking you for your key when you leave the hotel, as they don't know you are only going for a meal. We hope you still enjoyed your stay in the beautiful city of Paris and wish you a happy 2024.

Nous avons compris que vous nous avez dit que vous aimeriez quand même en avoir un et que vous n'en auriez pas forcément besoin si cela était trop étroit dans la chambre. Nous avons également essayé de vous proposer une chambre plus grande, mais malheureusement, celle-ci se trouvait à un étage supérieur. La prochaine fois, n'hésitez pas à nous contacter à la réception pendant votre séjour. Nous aurions volontiers trouvé une solution avec vous.Nous sommes également désolés qu'aucun de nos réceptionnistes n'ait été en mesure de trouver un kit de toilette pour vous. Nous avons discuté avec notre équipe pour nous assurer que cela ne se reproduise pas. Toutes nos photos sont des photos qui correspondent à notre hôtel. Nous n'essayons pas d'embellir ou de dissimuler quoi que ce soit.
