Deteriorated furnishing and bad room conditions

The hotel location is just 3mins walk from the Gare du Nord train station, which links directly with the CDG airport via the RER B line. But the room condition was really bad, especially the acoustic insulation. I can hear different noises at night. The room furnishing was old and deteriated a lot. It is in big contrast from those photos shown online. Very disappointing when you finds large patch of dirt on the carpet, scratched wall paper and dents at the bath tub. Besides, the TV screen is quite small and the room has only 1 wall socket outlet that I can plug my laptop charger!

Lits et sallzs de bains propres mais le mobilier est peu reluisant. Les peintures du mobiler ecaillees le tissu de la chaise repugnant on n a pas osé s y asseoir... noir et piqueté ... le sommier presentant des coulures douteuses. Une seule prise électrique dans la chambre. Par terre à coté de la porte.une seule table de nuit. Les parties communes auraient également besoin d un rafraîchissement. On ne comprend pas les 3 etoiles annoncées. Des frais de gestion a l hotel d environ 10 euros pour 2 nuits ajoutés au prix initialement annoncé par expedia. Le personnel en revanche est agréable et serviable.

What a disappointment! I'm OK with a simple room but I got assigned "the room with no number" with an entry door in the bar. A door handle that didn't work led to sort of 'extra/emergency/overflow' room with a bathroom floor that was a disgrace! Grimy, stained and looking very unsanitary, I was afraid to remove my shoes. Thank goodness it wasn't too far to get to the station next morning for my onward journey.

The room was ordinary. There was no thermostat so you cannot change the temperature. On our last night we noticed that we had bed bug bites. You have to leave your card key at the reception but they don’t even check who you are when you come back for the key on your way back from outside.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing stay The room was dirty and poorly maintained. There were no power outlets for charging devices, no air conditioning, and no heating. We booked a triple room with a king bed but found three small twin beds, two of them simply pushed together. The mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable, and the overall setup felt neglected. There were also some strange people lingering in the hallway, which made us feel unsafe. Definitely not worth the price.

Staff very nice and helpful! Very outdated. NOT a 3 stars! Barely 1star! The two light fixtures against the wall by the beds, one did not work, the other working but hanging by a thread. One plug by the entrance only with an extension cord that was provided. No plugs by the beds. One side light in the bathroom, made it difficult to shave. Two ceiling lights, one working but very dim. The other not working! Two small beds, one I could feel the springs, next day I used the other one. Not sure how they got 3 stars! I stayed in 3 stars hotel in Paris and they were amazing. Don’t know if it was only my room, but it was very disappointing.
