The property is small and quaint. The room was well appointed and stocked. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was offered at €17 but there was a lot of selection in the friendly neighbourhood cafes at less cost. Lots of attractions within walking distance and cabs or public transport were handy.

A Nightmare!!!!! The room was small! The door of the bathroom doesn’t open because touch with the bed! It was illegal!! If you go out after 12:00 am the room will ne not clean!! the worst experience in my life!!!!!

The hotel is a classic old house converted to a hotel many years ago and therefore an authentic Venetian experience.the beds are very hard but the staff is lovely.

We had a wonderful experience at Hôtel Relais Saint Jacques in Paris! The entire staff, including Rebecca, Chloe, Matheo, and others, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their incredible hospitality and willingness to accommodate our needs, such as helping with our luggage and arranging transportation to the train station amidst traffic, truly exemplify their dedication to customer service. It's always a joy to encounter such attentive and helpful staff members during a trip. Thank you for having us and we hope to have many more enjoyable stays in the future!

For a first time visit to Paris the hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean & beautifully decorated. Mattress, pillows, linens & towels plush & very comfortable. The room was large with ample storage. We enjoyed the nespresso machine and appreciated the in room safe. The hotel lobby with small bar & sitting area was beautiful & welcoming. The bathroom with jacuzzi tub & rainfall shower was enjoyed. Only drawback was the carpet needed a good cleaning because stains were visible on cream carpet. Slippers & bathrobes were a nice touch. We enjoyed our balcony view & felt like we received very great value through Expedia booking. Many nice cafes & boulangerie nearby. Very walkable & safe area even at night, close to all the attractions. Metro & busline very close by. The front desk staff & maid service were exceptional & attended to our every need with grace & professionalism.We would highly recommend Hotel Relais St. Jaques & and would stay here again.

I usually stay in chain hotels because there aren’t surprises, I know what to expect. For our trip to Paris I read reviews and picked a modest priced hotel in a convenient location to several sites I wanted to visit in the 2 day visit. I have rarely been so pleasantly surprised! The hotel is charming, very clean, houses a restaurant with wonderful food, quaint sitting room, but the best quality about this hotel is the staff. Never, in all my many hotel stays have I been more impressed with the friendliness and hospitality extended by a hotel staff! Everyone, from the manager to the maid, went out of their way to help us feel at home and welcomed during our stay. The manager even ran out stopping our taxi to return something I had left. If you are ever in Paris, book this hotel, you won’t be sorry!

Wonderfully located, great staff, breakfast was adequate. Cute boutique hotel, but the carpets are in need of replacing. And perhaps a fresh coat of paint. We booked a superior room fir the space and expected at least clean carpets.

Lovely boutique hotel
A beautiful boutique hotel close to the centre of Paris. The standard rooms are compact, but spacious enough and beautifully decorated. I think because we asked for a bathroom with a bath, the room may have been slightly bigger than some others. We didn't take breakfast at the hotel as thought the selection seemed a bit limited for the EUR17 pp. There are plenty of other breakfast options nearby. Easy few minutes walk to the nearest RER station at Luxembourg Gardens. Nice area of the city close to the university.

Very conveniently located in the heart of the 5ième. Very close to transportation hubs and very walkable as well. Great food just stepts away. The room was excellent and the staff very genial and helpful.

We arrived at 1pm and requested early check in. They charged us 50€ for an early check-in even though the room was ready. Check in is at 3pm. Unheard of! We won’t be staying there again.

The check out is at 11h30 am and the check-in begins indeed at 3pm every hotel in Paris is different if you arrived at 1 pm you had the choice to leave the luggage in our storage room for free and either go visit the city or wait in our library/living room. You chose an early check in so we had to rush the cleaning ladies to stop what they were doing to focus on your room by doing so of course there is a fee. Love love love this small boutique hotel in Paris! Stayed for a full week and was so sad to leave! The cutest quaint rooms, balcony/terrace options, amenities, and lovely and helpful staff. Really captured the charm and culture of such a romantic and historical city. Breakfast each morning was also a plus! Great area, away from the hustle and bustle so it’s quiet and an escape for relaxing but close enough that you can scooter and bike to everything!!!

The staff was fantastic and extremely helpful. The bathrooms were updated and very nice. However, the rooms were dated and needed refreshing. The balcony was fantastic. At first the neighborhood seemed far away from everything but we learned to like the quietness and restaurants that were within a block or so. It is true that this hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Luxembourg Gardens but the gardens are gigantic and it was a 10 minute walk to one of the ends of the gardens. I would highly recommend this hotel if a great staff is important and if a quiet safe neighborhood is important.

We had a pleasant stay. The room was small but we knew that going in and we were upgraded. The building is quite old and tired in many ways - if you need space this is not the hotel.

Een prachtig, echt frans hotel in een rustige, lommerrijke straat. Met restaurantjes en cafe's direct naast de deur. Op loop afstand van het pantheon en jardin luxembourg. De staf is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers met balcon op de 5e verdieping zijn zeer aan te raden.

Llevo más de 10 años acudiendo al relais St. Jacques. Lo mejorcito de París para gustos bohemios. Sin calles lujosas alrededor, poco o ningún ruido a la noche...y al oír la campana de la Parroquia de Saint Jacques te creerías en el campo. Coqueto, buen desayuno, cuartos de baño estupendos.

Our friends called this a "vest pocket hotel," with about 24 smallish rooms. The rooms were charming, well maintained and quiet. Daily room service is back here and is excellent. Recommended for couples or singles.
