Hotel Vaneau is quiet and very comfortable. The room and bathroom are a nice size. We appreciated the bathrobes and in room tea/coffee. They have a lovely breakfast in a sunny main floor area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our 5 nights and would stay there again.

A charming historic hotel in the sixth arr. the staff were friendly and so helpful. A wonderful breakfast every morning. We walked all around at night and had no issues. The metro is a block away.

The hotel is small but had a uniqueness to it. Very clean. Breakfast was good. Metro just around the corner. Two stores close by to get food or snacks. The restaurant next door was excellent to eat and drink. Bakery around the corner had excellent sandwiches and pastries as well as the coffee. If I return to Paris I would definitely return to Hotel Vaneau.

Hotel itself was great, the staff is great, lost of good places to eat around the hotel and the train station is literally a minute walk away. Do not recommend if you have a stroller and are staying on the 5th or 6th floor. Elevator (which is tiny) only goes up to 4th floor. Other than that had an amazing stay

Nice and cozy place to stay with excellent personnel at front desk. There are three things recommended for improvement which are the elevator that at the most is for 3 max with carryon luggage and the alternative is to use the stairs which is a good workout session. Second the shower that is very very very small/narrow and third improve cleaning because I had to clean the shower because of visible mold. Hope this areas can improve because overall the hotel has a good location, well decorated and good breakfast.

Way better than Expected!
The room was well appointed, we were able to separate the two single beds. It was larger than expected, and while the shower was minuscule, it worked well. A few more outlets near the heads of the beds would have been a delight. The black out curtains were effective, and the room was quiet at night

Excellente adresse
Très agréable séjour (une nuit) dans une jolie chambre avec cheminée et tout le confort (bouilloire... peignoirs sorties de bain...). Personnel très accueillant. Assez calme malgré la proximité de la rue de Sèvres. Je retournerai certainement dans cet hôtel lors de mon prochain passage à Paris.

Pleasant hotel in the 6th
Excellent location in the 6th. Compact room but has everything you need. Bed was comfortable. Property is reasonably well maintained but showing its age. Staff was very pleasant.

Great little spot
Lovely little hotel in Vaneau. There's a Metro less than half a block. The rooms are small but it is Paris so it is very comfortable. They do have a lift for the first 4 floors but you need to walk up a couple of flights if you're on the 5 or 6 floors. Easy access to St Germain restaurants and a good walk from all the major attractions. very friendly and helpful staff that speak multiple languages
