Hidden Log Cabin Deep in Elk Country -Grand Canyon


  • Our cabin was built with our own hands, every log was laid and chinked with love. It sits on a 10 acre parcel, and the national forest is our backyard. Big windows to see the beautiful ponderosa pine forest, with elk and deer passing by. Spacious living area, with a fully equipped kitchen. You cannot see our neighbors, for they are all acres away. If you want a glamorous campsite, then our place is for you. Lots of trails for hiking, biking. skiing and your OHV's. We also have central cooling and heating for your convenience and Starlink WIFI! Nearest amenities are 10 miles away. We are south of the Grand Canyon, in Parks, Az. Relax after a long hike in our large Jacuzzi!

The cabin was beautiful surrounded by nature. It was just what I needed. I enjoyed the hot tub and the view from the porch. I recommend this place for everyone. Thank you. I will definitely be booking it again for longer, 2 days was not long enough.

The only surprise was the long dirt road to the property... bumpy and dusty. It was worth it once you arrived! Beautiful, peaceful setting and very nice log house with large hot tub looking out on the Forest

Our stay was fantastic. Veronica was responsive to all our needs. The home is large, comfortable, and in a perfect location for sightseeing Arizona. I highly recommend!

If you desire a quiet cabin in the pines, this is the place! All the rustic charm with the modern comforts. Upon check in we were all very pleased with the look and vibe of the cabin. Easy check-in, clean and well equipped with home essentials. We enjoyed the spa in the evening after our Grand Canyon adventure; highly recommend. A significant bonus for our family was having both of our dogs welcome. We chose the Hidden Cabin for our Grand Canyon and Grand Canyon Adventure Park stay with our grand children for their first visit to Arizona. Our group consisted of myself, spouse, one pre teen and two teens. Absoluteltly beautiful and peaceful area. Everyone slept well in the comfy beds and had plenty of personal space.Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are planning another visit during the snow season.

It felt like a home, not a rental. Having the USFS property out the backdoor made for fabulous wild life viewing. It was thrilling to hear the elk bugling. We felt safe and enjoyed our trip.

Great cabin in the mountains

Beautiful cabin and wilderness surrounding. The hot tub was awesome to sit back and enjoy the stars from the back deck.

Fantastic property to get away from it all. Plenty of open area, away from main roads, allowing for peace and relaxation. Easyvto find, simple check in, clean and inviting. Amazing!

We have spent the last month touring AZ & CA and have stayed in some fabulous properties, but when we walked through the front door of Veronica's home the reaction was just ‘wow’ Everything you could possibly want or need in a beautiful location. If I’m ever back in the Parks area this would be our #1 choice of place to stay

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

Gorgeous cabin, spotless. Host left a list of activities in the area so we did 2 hikes from that list. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Great cabin getaway

Great Cabin

Great place to stay and super responsive host. Cabin was a wonderful place to come to after a long day hunting and the hot tub topped it all off. Will use again if available and drawn in the future.
