Loved our stay here. It is clean, has all the things you need. Excellent communication and the welcome binder was very handy. This complex is very quite and so close to the beach. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

Lovely cottage
We enjoyed the fully modern accommodation. While the cottages were close to each other, the landscaping provided privacy and both front and back decks were appreciated. Didn't use the pool -- our focus was the beach. However, the ice cream at Rip Tide Lagoon was excellent. We definitely recommend this cottage. We recommend this

Had a great time at your place. Everything was as described with everything that we needed. Had an issue with the pool keys but they was resolved the next day. Would like to stay again. Maybe in the summer when it’s a bit warmer.

The property is good, great location, quiet. The one problem was in the cleanliness. There was sticky jam on the peninsula, the dish rag was “stinky”. We threw it out and replaced it with a new, clean one. The frying pan and one of the pots were dirty with grease on the pan, we washed everything before we used it. Other than that, it was okay. I can guarantee it is cleaner when we left than when we arrived.

Great Base Camp
We loved the comfort of our cabin in Parksville after hiking almost everyday. So many beautiful hikes and waterfalls to visit! We loved the city/town of Parksville and the Farmers market in Qualicom Beach. Thanks for providing the perfect weather also.

Coming with 2 good beds and 2 full bathrooms, plus a pullout up in the loft made for a good vacation rental. Comfortable furniture and decorations. Extremely well stocked kitchen, with many wonderful extras provided. I would definitely return!

Beautiful, restful getaway
We stayed at the Lazy Eagle for 8 nights in October and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit is well equipped and beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture, all kitchen amenities and linens that you would need. It is very quiet, we never heard the neighbors or any street noise whatsoever. Pat and Gene were attentive to our texts or emails and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. Parksville is very friendly and we found many places to eat, shop, walk the beach and explore. We truly had one of the best holidays ever, even compared to trips to Hawaii and Mexico, the laid back vibe was exactly what we were looking for to unwind and enjoy a week away from real life.

A little off bulls eye
Having stayed at other owner's units in this complex before (with better results) we found this unit missed the mark slightly. We love the accommodations and resort but found this unit needed some spring cleaning to eliminate cob webs and dust. We had to clean up garbage and recycling in the driveway and front porch upon arrival. It needs a couple of minor repairs on toilet paper holder in the main bathroom and safety latch on the rear gate You can't have your infants escaping the deck)). We also had a fire alarm that went off several times one day (no one was cooking).

Fantastic Spot for Family Reunion
Our family was blown away by this property. Hosts did everything possible to ensure our stay went smoothly; welcome binder outlining in detail everything we needed to know about the place and the surrounding areas, the kitchen was fully stocked, (2 sets of dishes, loads of glassware, gadgets, coffee maker including pods, etc), even left us 'starter' pods for dishwasher and laundry! We have stayed in other spots which had bare mimimum amenities, not so with this place! True 5 star in our books... location was great and home was a dream to stay in -- we will be back! Lazy Eagle was Outstanding
I highly recommend this property if you want a great family stay in the Parksville area. Chris and Cheryl are great hosts and have made sure every detail is covered. They even made an exception to o their pet policy to allow our dogs and provided towels for the dogs. The bottle of wine was a lovely extra touch as well. Thank you for the great stay!

We really enjoyed our time in Parksville and at the cabin. It was clean, quiet and the back deck was enjoyable for coffee in the morning. We were close to the beach, the Black Goose Inn and outdoor activities/parks.

Wonderful "Home Away from Home" Rental
We were very pleased with this rental property. The cottage was exceptionally clean, comfortable and well-stocked. It truly contained everything required for a relaxing vacation. We kept saying "We could live here" :-) The location was ideal for day trips to the beach and Parksville. We would highly recommend this property. Clean and pleasant cottage
This cottage is a clean and pleasant base for a beach getaway. The hosts were quick to reply to messages. I stayed with my own young children and with friends who also have young children. We found the cottage to have a good amount of space for our two families. Having stayed in a very similar cottage in the same resort prior to this, we found that there were a few details that would have made our stay more comfortable. The cottage would benefit from an additional fan (1 for each sleeping area), as the rooms are hot in the summer. It also would have been convenient to be supplied with sufficient dish washer detergent and laundry soap for the stay, as well as a few more bath towels, and a few more kitchen basics such as salt for cooking.

Excellent Getaway
Spent 4 nights at the Lazy Eagle with my wife and 3 grandchildren. The cottage is exactly as described and as shown in the photos. We found it very clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Although it is only 1100 square feet it seems larger. All in all it is very comfortable. The cottage is located in a quiet area of the resort. The loft area was a hit with the grandkids as it gave them a space to get away from the old folks. The tv service and wifi worked flawlessly. This is a very nice cottage. You can walk down to Rathtrevor Beach and it is also an easy drive from the cottage to the beach. We do not hesitate to recommend it.

Nice accommodation made for comfortable and pleasant getaway with family🙂 Only thing I questioned is the VRBO fee seemed high when you consider your already paying a premium price for the nightly fees.
