As a result, we were forced to secure last-minute accommodations at a local hotel around 10 p.m., which was both stressful and inconvenient.While VRBO has since issued a full refund for the original booking, I am now required to go through an additional process to recover the unexpected hotel expenses. “Host was attentive and responsive by phone, and the place was a cute small farm house, but it was on a busy noisy road which was unpleasant. Also lighting was not great, only ceiling lights worked so no floor lamps and table lamps didn't work. Small annoyances but made for a less pleasurable experience. Definitely not a five star, but acceptable. ”
