Tad Yuang:
This is the idealistic swimming grotto spot to soak up the falling water.

I know most people might have reservations about driving a motorbike in a foreign country (i did) - BUT this was a journey of a life time, traffic was minimal, and road conditions weren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be. Find your inner moto spirit fire and hit the big Bolaven loop!

**TIP: Rent a moto from MISS NOY in Pakse. Really nice french guy gives you a thorough run down of the map, waterfalls, directions & guesthouses.

Motorbiked the Bolaven Plateau in search of falling water. Was not disappointed. #EndlessSummer

This waterfall is located on the BIG loop on the Bolaven Plateau (Laos, Pakse).
I would totally recommend doing the bigger loop over the shorter. Some of the most beautiful waterfalls are in this area, and totally off the tourist path. We literally didn't see any tourist, only extremely friendly locals!

**TIP: Bring something other than flip-flops! Especially when hiking down to this waterfall. It's a gorgeous bamboo forest trek, but pretty difficult.

Probably the nicest, most beautiful, impressive hotel property in Pakse. The breakfast was great, with lots of choices every morning. And the pool area is beautiful, though needs more lounge chairs (there are only 6!... and they don't face the sun). More lounge chairs could be put on the opposite ...
