“From arrival to departure we were very impressed with our treatment and the accommodation pod we had booked. There are only cafe facilities at the weekend therefore the need to travel for food and drink was unavoidable but it is only a short drive into Gisborne. The beaches close by are a surfers paradise so would certainly suit the adventurous person, though not myself. An all round excellent stay. ”

“This was one of the best hotel experiences I ever had. The lady at the front desk was extremely pleasant. The fresh milk bottle was very nice touch. The room was extremely clean with attention to all the small details. The area is very quiet and walkable. “This is my second time staying in the Emerald. Large space as always！Friendly staff as always! One thing to mention, I have left my SM Pad in the room! The friendly staff called me and told me how to arrange a return bag to collect the Pad! The hotel kept my pad safe for a few days until I completed my trip to arrange for the return bag to collect it! Much appreciated! ”
