"I stayed here with my mum during our roadtrip through France. We only stayed here one night and arrived in the evening, so didn't get to enjoy much time there. However the house was stunning and the room was beautiful and comfortable. We were very tired and were happy to be able to recharge. The bed was comfortable and my mum was happy to be able to have a bath. Amit (sorry if I've spelt that wrong) was lovely and a wonderful host. He gave advice on where to eat dinner and offered to cook us up...

"2 nights stay and although we booked b&b we were able to book dinner on the evening we arrived. The hosts were charming and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and accessible, even on the first floor via a very narrow staircase. As 80 year olds we were cautious on the stairs but no problems. The breakfast was fine and sufficient. The location was perfect for us. We were able to visit the chateaux of the Listrac and also Pauillac very easily."

"We had the privilege of getting married at Château Borgeat de Lagrange, and it was absolutely magical. The property is truly enchanting — surrounded by vineyards, history, and charm in every corner.Estelle is an amazing host — warm, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented. "A very strange hotel. On paper looks fantastic but was actually very tired and seemed quite empty. It is an ambitious hotel development gone wrong. One or two wings were closed almost falling down. The pool was closed. I don’t recommend the breakfast. Everything was shut by 10pm."

"The area is beautiful in the forest and calm. Unfortunately the house was not clean at all, dirty dishes and utensils and filthy areas around the house. The outside was run down, full of weeds and the pergola very unsafe and not attached so swaying. Very dangerous for children. I reported to host kindly and sent photos and the host merely said she would make it better for the next guest. I asked not to pay cleaning and money off my stay but this was ignored and host has continued to ignore my messages. A real shame for a house which could be amazing with a bit more love given to it. "
