This beautiful 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom oceanfront home is a great family house for a beach vacation! The home features beautiful wood finishing throughout and a cozy decor that adds to the rustic charm. The upstairs just had all new flooring installed, new mattresses in all bedrooms and much more!

Excellent location. Old vintage beach cottage with nice porches. Wasn’t crowded due to the season/time of year. Great for walking & biking. Did not fish but looked promising. Great restaurants within 10 minute drive. Wonderful golf courses nearby

The Willcox Dotterer house was a lovely location for our trip. The location was fabulous with the ocean only steps away and the creek/salt marsh on the other side of the house. With the area being a single row of house toward the southern tip of the island, the beach was not crowded. Check in/out was extremely easy and the host was very responsive to needs. It was our first trip to Pawleys Island and we all loved it.

PLENTY OF SPACE TO ROAM...INSIDE AND OUT!

This was a great getaway for the family. Beds were very comfy and we enjoyed the extra space to spread out for differing activities. Very quiet and plenty of outside fun with the beach and fishing creek/dock. Some enjoyed collecting seashell and watching the waves, while others enjoyed a kayak ride. Get groceries before you arrive and there is really no need to ever leave! Thanks for sharing your fabulous home!

A little piece of heaven!

I have been coming to Pawleys Island since I was in middle school; I’m 54 now! We have stayed in several different houses on the island and have always enjoyed our time. The biggest draw back of this most recent house we stayed is there were too many steps for my aging parents and uncle. We also had more than one electrical socket not working. But overall, we had a blast!

Great family Thanksgiving!

The house is older, but has charm and lots of living space for a big family. Loved that each bedroom had a bath. It was perfect for our family of 8, increasing to 12 with more family visiting for meals. The large dining table was perfect for family meals. Loved being on the beach and on the creek!

Beautiful view

We had an amazing time. To wake up to a great view of the ocean was absolutely breathtaking! We had plenty of beds for our family and the beds were extremely comfortable. The only negative comment is the place is slightly dated.

Old School Pawleys

The house was great for our needs and in an amazing location. The beach in the back and canal on the front was awesome….views all day long. You can tell there were good times had for years with family pictures spread around the house. This house screams old pawleys charm.

Perfect weekend

We had a great time! Our favorite aspects- the view of the beach (especially at sunrise) and the fireplace for evening fires. Two things I’d improve- (1) one if the eyes on the electric stove didn’t work and (2) the check in process requires you to go to their office. They should simply give you a code for access to the property.
