The "reception" is unmanned despite the advert saying it is manned between 5pm and 11pm. I tried to contact the owner on the number provided and got sent to an answer phone. Great. The messaging service on Hotels.com also yielded no results. The very helpful bar staff over the road phoned the owner for me, where I found out they had forgotten my reservation. 「The property is new but very charming, built by a craftsman. Parking and grounds are large. Although billed as dog friendly a dog could easily get out onto the road if unsupervised and they request dogs are not left alone which is awkward if you want to go out for a meal in the evening. It's worth noting that the rear of the property is also the owner's market garden and they may want to bring a van alongside the garden area and work.
